Best hotel we stayed in in Belgium

Fantastic location, beautiful room, very helpful and welcoming. Snacks and drinks available. Wonderful large bathroom. All facilities to a very high standard

If you need some rest in Hotton. This is where you can stay.

Our final stop on a marvellous hike along the Ourthe. The hotel has a patisserie and bakery. Nice clean and cosy rooms with a large (!) television screen. We stayed on the top floor. Had a breakfast in the morning in the bakery. Homemade jam is recommended. A cup of coffee. And a goodbye. If you need some rest in Hotton. This is where you can stay.

Recently refurbished / decorated family run hotel. Rooms all had air conditioning and were of a good size. Hotel is located in the heart of Hotton and close to all the restaurants the town has to offer. Very tranquil location.

Endroit exceptionnel, belle vue sur la rivière, calme, propre , accueil parfait , à notre arrivée on nous a proposé une boisson chaude avec mignardises, et dans la chambre il y a avait aussi bouteilles d'eau et petits gâteaux, un petit plus très apprécié la chambre et la salle de bains très spacieuses , très bonne literie dans un cadre magnifique, le petit déjeuner était très copieux, plusieurs sortes de pains, croissants, jambon, fromage, yaourt, un régal tout était parfait,

Extra bed 3persoonskamer) was uitklapzetel met slechte matras. Internet niet altijd even stabiel (tv en wifi)

Ruime mooie kamer op een leuke locatie. De badkamer is fantastisch. Heel proper. Goed bed.

Vrij veel lawaai: de klokken van de kerk aan de overkant gingen elke (half) uur af, de auto's op staat.... Ook vervelend dat de airco met een fel groen licht de hele nacht richting bed scheen.

Ik kom er graag maar is zeer onpersoonlijk qua ontvangst en uitchecken.

De kamer, zeer net en stijlvol

Ontbijt zeer basic. Bovendien kreeg ik een bevestiging dat ontbijt inbegrepen was in de prijs maar toch moest ik 15 euro extra betalen. Een eitje kon maar met een supplement, nog nooit meegemaakt! Ik kom al 20 jaar in dit hele etablissement en vond dit niet ok!!! De extra 15 euro voor het ontbijt had men als commerciële geste kunnen weglaten vind ik. Heel jammer

Juste bien pour un week-end.

La vue sur la rivière. La décoration de la chambre.

La mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bains (odeur de canalisation). Le bruit en provenance de la route devant l'hôtel. La raideur des deux volées d'escalier pour atteindre la chambre. Au déjeuner (repas du matin en Belgique), manque de choix dans le salé (produits régionaux ??), et abondance de thés aromatisés mais pénurie de thés classiques.

Chambre confortable au bord de l'Ourthe

Confortable, propreté irréprochable, jolie décoration, .... La possibilité de boire un café ou un thé. Une situation idéale en plein centre de Hotton.

Tout s'est très bien passé. Si on pinaille un peu : Au petit déjeuner, nous aurions apprécié des fruits et des œufs sans devoir payer un supplément, par exemple et nous avons été surpris de ne pas pouvoir choisir nos pains, charcuterie ou viennoiseries... C'était imposé, mais c'était très bon et fort copieux.

Hôtel qui allie qualité et simplicité

Chambre numéro 3 très spacieuse, surtout la salle de douche, claire et aérée. Arrivée tardive. Tout s'est bien passé. Thé et café en libre service au rez de chaussée, comme à la maison !

Le petit déjeuner ne varie quasiment pas d'un jour à l'autre. Seulement la viennoiserie, fabriquée sur place, change.

Een echte aanrader voor koppels.

Superleuke ligging in het centrum van Hotton vlak aan de Ourthe. Een ruime kamer met zeer smaakvolle en gezellige inrichting. Genoeg parking dichtbij het hotel. Leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Centrale ligging in de Ardennen, veel mogelijkheden om te bezoeken zonder al te ver te moeten rijden.

Wat weinig opbergruimte voor kleren of valiezen. Het ontbijt was zeer lekker, maar er mocht iets meer variatie zijn. Zeker indien mensen voor een langere periode blijven (bv. 5 dagen of een week).

Ontbijt was voldoende, een eitje en een yoghurt zou erbij mogen. Kamers zijn groot genoeg, zeker onze badkamer.

Parfait pour un séjour dans la région

Le personnel aux petits oignons pour répondre à nos besoins. Les lieux sont super beaux, et le petit dej dans le tea room est juste la cerise sur le gâteau ! Un autre avantage à souligner est la possibilité d'arrivée autonome (nous n'avions pas la possibilité d'arriver en heures pour le check-in). J'y reviendrai avec plaisir !

Malheureusement, il est attendu de nous que nous quittions la chambre pour 10h/1030hrs... J'aurais apprécié une petite heure de sommeil en plus ^^ Peut-être que j'ouvrirai la négociation pour mon prochaine séjour :)

Mindere ervaring ondanks mooie ligging

De douche was goed + goede ligging in Hotton.

Bedden werden ganse verblijf niet opgemaakt. Dit kwam ons nog nooit voor in een hotel ! Niemand aanwezig voor check-in of voor andere vragen. Behalve laatste dag als er nog geld geïnd moest worden, dan kende de eigenares ons plots. Handdoeken vernieuwen in badkamer verliep niet zoals het hoort. Op toiletpapier diende gerantsoeneerd te worden. Werd niet aangevuld en vanaf begin was niet eens een complete rol in de houder. Geen kleerkast aanwezig.

Attention pour les dormeurs ⚠️ Pas d insonorisation des lieux

La décoration ,la proprete et surtout le salon de thé ☕️ avec un accès direct. La vue sur la rivière et le cadre est jolie. Facile de se garer sur place (gratuit).

L insonorisation. Dans le listing de l équipement et des lieux sur booking, il y a noter que c est insonorisé. Faux. Malheureusement, c est une vieille bâtisse qui a été rénovée avec goût mais qui n a pas été insonorisée. (Bruits de craquements de parquet à l ancienne) Le Week end n a pas été reposant.

Wij hebben het goed gehad

De man in het broodjeszaak vonden wij erg leuk en gastvrij. Voor de rest was alles prima en schoon. En gelukkig niet grootschalig en massaal is

Nette kamer in leuk dorpje

Was allemaal prima geregeld. De eigenaresse was er niet bij ontvangst, maar de sleutel lag keurig klaar. Het ontbijt was in de bakkerij ernaast en uitstekend. Mooie nette kamer.

Mooi verblijf voor mensen die goed te been zijn en van avontuur en natuur houden.

Het ontbijt lekker en ruim voldoende, vroeger had je hier een buffet, maar nu is er keuze uit 3 of vier soorten ontbijt, prima voor mij, maar booking moet dit nog aanpassen. Parkeren is daar steeds een probleem aangezien Hotton heel levendig is en er dus altijd wel iets te doen is. 100m verder kon ik mijn wagen kwijt naast de weg. Het gebouw is vrij oud en heeft houten trappen en vloeren wat nogal storend kan zijn, het kraakt en piept wel eens al valt de hinder best mee. Je kan de ramen open zetten of airco aanzetten indien het te warm is. Je hebt er mooie zichten van op je kamer.

Parking... nogal lastig. geen lift, alles via de trap. De wegen buiten zijn niet toegankelijk voor rolstoelen. Je valies draag je dus ook best met de hand.
