very bad smell in the bedding and towels

Good location, away from the noise, bed was comfy was nice to have a pool to cool down in
Bathroom door kept getting jammed, got stuck in the bathroom every time you’d shut it, shower didn’t work on the first night and wasn’t kept in the loop by staff which was disappointing, when room was “cleaned”, all that was done was the bed was made, the towels weren’t removed or changed, no more toilet paper, TV didn’t work for anything other than 10 Indonesian channels, pool needs more regular cleaning and it only has 2 loungers by it so no room to sit if there is anyone else by the pool

Best stay in Bali for us. Super clean room, has everything you need, quiet but central location in Ubud. Staff very friendly and helpful. Felt like 5 star hotel but with a budget.
Nothing, everything was great

We stayed at this hotel in Bali for four nights. The location was great – right in the center of Ubud, but on a quieter side street, just a few minutes’ walk from the main road. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and gyms nearby, but the area felt peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself is more like a guesthouse – tidy, modern, and with a small pool in the courtyard. The rooms were clean, stylish, and comfortable. The only things missing were hand soap and some smaller towels for the face or hair, but that’s a minor detail. Overall, the price matched the quality, the location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even helped arrange a driver for a day trip. Overall, a very pleasant stay – I would definitely recommend it!

Nothing really, only that staff at the reception were friendly.
Unfortunately this was the worst place I have been in Ubud and I have been there a lot.
Access is really bad, narrow laneway, hard to get in and park the motorcycle. Hard to turn the motorcycle back to leave the hotel, I had to ask the staff every time to help me.
I booked the Superior room and they gave me the room on ground floor.
The room was extremely dark and with a very strong mold smell that kept me awake both nights. It was very intense. I nearly left late at night to find another hotel to sleep, I just didn’t because I was going to leave very early next day and the idea of getting out with the motorcycle on that lane put me off.
The room and bathroom were extremely damp.
The saving is definitely not worth it.
I understand that Ubud has a huge problem with mold because of the climate, it’s hard to control. But unfortunately people build places with no understanding of how to prevent it. This is a place tucked away in a little area with no ventilation.

Great location near the centre of Ubud. Quiet and private. Decent pool. Friendly staff.
Cleanliness of bed linen and towels could be improved. Couple more pillows on the bed would be appreciated.

Location is good, you can walk anywhere in Ubud. Price is definitely good for this place. The receptionists were always super kind to us.
Bathroom could use a little bit upgrade and it was a little bit humid smell inside.

The property is in a really good location.
The shower is really nice and there is hot water!
The pictures make it look like the property is bigger. There is also no privacy. My room was facing the front desk so the man sitting at the front desk could always see into my room.
One of the guys working there was very nice, the other guy not so much.
I also had to ask for hand soap in the room even though every review written is also saying there is no hand soap which tells me they aren’t really listening to the reviews. I’ve never been to a hotel before that didn’t provide hand soap…

Bisma Terrace Suites was the most amazing place to stay, it by far has been the best accommodation that myself and my family have had during our travels in Bali. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the value for the accommodation was great. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. The shower with the rain shower head had great pressure. The beautiful swimming pool was lovely too and well maintained. It was such a relaxing and quiet place to stay and just seconds from incredible cafes and restaurants ☺️ I would highly recommend Bisma Terrace Suites and will definitely be staying here when I next return to Bali.
Thanks a lot!
Please provide a hand towel and hand soap, every thing else was great

the staff are friendly and helpful. Im staying at the upper floor where there're less bug problem. the location is nice and private. the room is clean and comfy.
a bit inconvenient that we need to give the key to the staff for cleaning the room.

Near to the ubud art markets.
After 10 pm area is too quite dark exit.

It's a cute small place with only 6 rooms and a lovely pool. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room has nice interior with a very comfortable bed, pillows and comfy linen sheets. The bathroom is big and comfortable. It's the perfect place when you are anyway outside exploring Ubud during daytime. It's a bit hidden & quiet when the construction work in the neighbourhood ends, but that's the new sound of Bali I guess, almost everywhere you'll have construction work going on. Plenty of cafes and restaurants are in walking distance, I highly recommend PUKAKO! Had food and amazing coffee there every day.
The construction work was of course a bit unpleasant but I anyway preferred to spend my day outside exploring.

Great location, so close to the hustle and bustle but in a peaceful laneway. There is foot access in a narrow path around 50metres to the suites, wide enough to ride a motorscooter down. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and with lovely decor plus have all the comforts required. I stayed in a room upstairs with peaceful views. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to all the downtown Ubud sites.
Wifi wasn't strong enough to have a video call without buffering from time to time. TVs aren't smart TV so cant access Netflix account, so youll need to bring your own toggle/stick etc if you wish to sign into any paid viewing apps, local tv network only available fyi.

it was in the center of ubud with lots of nice restaurants with a shop right outside the room
bed was rock solid and covered in blood stains ,floor was messy shower had a cockroach and a centipede within the stones (alive) the water was so hot it killed them (water was boiling have to be careful when turning it on) and the pool water smelt like sewage

Friendly staff, always ready to greet you. Offered me an umbrella when going out in the rain and allowed me to leave my bags for the day after check out which was much appreciated
Hand soap and a bath mat would be helpful in the bathroom.
Room has a damp smell, doesn’t appear to be much ventilation. If I turned off AC when going out, would come back to a strong damp smell.

I stayed here from May 23 to May 27. While the room was spacious and the surroundings were cleaned daily with care, including little flower decorations that I found charming, my overall experience was unfortunately disappointing.
Location & arrival: The suite is located down a steep and narrow alley, with lots of turns. This is not clearly stated in the booking, and no one was available to help with my luggage. In the rain, the path becomes dangerously slippery. It’s not ideal, especially for solo travelers.
Cleanliness: Upon arrival, I noticed that the pillows were stained and had hair on them, not the welcome you hope for. It made me question the hygiene standard of the whole room.
Facilities: The air-conditioning kept shutting off during the night, making the room unbearably hot and causing me to wake up several times. The mini fridge was useful, but it made loud noises at night, which disrupted my sleep. In the bathroom all though it wad beautiful, I actually slipped and fell while showering, the mix of stone and tile, makes it very slippery, and they don’t provide a bath mat or anything for grip. That’s a serious safety issue.
scooter incident: I had mentioned in my booking that it was my birthday during my stay, but this was completely ignored, not even a simple “happy birthday.” Worse, on that day I had a motorbike accident with a scooter I rented via their partner. The scooter already had damages and unexpectedly accelerated, which caused a minor collision.
When I returned to the hotel with the person involved in the accident, visibly shaken and clearly needing help, I expected some kind of support. Instead, I was told, “It’s your fault, you fix it.” There was no concern for my wellbeing, no help in handling the situation (especially as I don’t speak the local language), and no follow-up at all (but they kept asking about damages on the scooter, that was concerning enough to ask at least 5 times (there weren’t any). It left me feeling incredibly unsupported and alone, on a day that was supposed to be special.
Staff & communication: Apart from the man who dismissed me during the accident situation, the rest of the staff were generally friendly in their demeanor.

Location was great close.enoigh to walk to the main spots for food and.drink.
The lovely rain shower was perfect.and the option for the smaller shower head is great.
Overall a lovely experience.with friendly staff and it's situated on the quieter back streets.
I would recommend having small hand towels for drying the face and.hands and also a towel for.coming out of the shower to dry your feet.
Little things like hand soap for washing hands and tissues for the main room would.be expected also.

It looks beautiful and has a lovely pool, and is at a great location
The people who worked there are very sweet and polite and helped when possible
1) the room had a bad smell most of the time
2) the towels and bed sheets smelled bad, they should've made sure they are fresh and clean before letting people stay at the room
3) the shower water flooded and sometimes went into the room...till they fixed it and it was ok after - they should've done regular maintenance before letting people use it
4) the AC dripped water till they fixed it- they also should do regular maintenance
I didn't read the reviews before coming- my bad - if I did I would've read every single complaint that I wrote above and wouldn't have chosen this venue

What a hidden gem tucked away off Bisma and the bustle. Wish we had longer. Gorgeous bathroom, decor and small pool area. Very pretty and welcoming.
The bed was very hard. It would be good to have directions because you need to walk a short distance from the road although easy with bags as no steps.

Room and pool was absolutely lovely. I was here for Nyepi so didn't leave the property and enjoyed the little Oasis. Loved every aspect of the room- style, benches and wardrobe to unpack. Everything was great. Aircon was fab and responsive. Loved the pillow and mattress.
Only 2 pool chairs available, not as displayed in picture (x4). A couple took the chairs and used them for the whole day- yet 6 rooms in hotel. Not accommodating to other guests. This did impact my stay as I chose this for relaxing pool days. So nowhere to relax and read my book by the pool.
Would benefit from offering pool towels for guests.
Breakfast a little pricey for what you get compared to other guesthouses of same standard.

Great stay! The room was big and had everything you needed (kettle, fridge). The staff were really friendly and the location was great, out of the way but still close enough to everything. The shower was also really nice & powerful.
Only minor downfall is the lack of sun beds/space by the pool (luckily not many people around as not many rooms) and a slight damp smell in room but wasn’t too bad.

It was decent for the value paid. Couldn’t expect more. Location was great to get everywhere easily though
Only one hotel staff was available at all times to take care of everything at the property which is obviously not ideal as at times they couldn’t be available. They did not provide soap for had washing, they expect you to use the shower gel dispenser attached on the bathroom wall everytime which is obviously very inconvenient. The worst part was that I think the bed had bugs and I got bitten all over my body within the first few hours of going to sleep the first night. Thankfully I stayed there only for two nights. They don’t really provide more than 250 ml of drinking water and ask you to refill from the dispenser placed downstairs at the reception which runs out at times. One of the nights when it was raining heavily they refused to refill the dispenser or get water for me from a store outside. I’ve probably had the worst experience at this hotel being someone who has stayed in hundreds of different hotels globally

Absolutely everything. The staff was super friendly and helpful
Breakfast was yummy and served to your room.
The pool was small and refreshing
Only 6 rooms so it's like a quiet retreat.
Only 5 minutes walk to ubud centre it does not feel like it tho its so quiet all you hear is chickens and crickets.
Supermarket direct opposite that's open 24 hours and really nice warrungs on the street
NOTHING loved every minute

Good location, good size room.
Unlimited bottled drinking water was great.
The hotel doesn’t provide face towels, soaps, etc. but there is shower gel and hair dryer on request.
Small but nice pool.
There was a weird insect in the of bathroom (from my description, I was told it was most likely scolopendra), no one from the staff went to check or offered a different room. Lucky to stay alive.
Stinky towels.
The room seemed ok clean, except for a lot of stains and some hair on the bedding. We also checked the pillows and they were disgusting - completely black from mold. After showing the pillows to the staff, and asking to change the sheets and the pillows, we returned to the room to find another set of stained sheets. I understand the stains could be due to the rusty drying rack or whatever, but the pillows - they were the same pillows but double cased, were they thinking we won’t look inside again?! Very disappointing staff behavior.
Eventually they did get us new pillows and pillowcases.
The staff don’t know how to use credit card reader (they CAN process contactless payments, you just have to show them how to do it).
I’m not a picky person, and understand that insects and some of other things are normal, but simple hygiene norms should be met.
(We tried looking for a different hotel after the first night, but was impossible to find it at such a short notice)

It was so close to everything, but tucked away down a lane so there was no street noise. It’s quite small and personal, and the staff are lovely. There’s lots to do snd see and eat very nearby. The pool and surrounds are compact but beautifully designed, the pool is quite a good size for such a small hotel. And there’s so much green space (rice fields) around.
It was a little unnerving walking down the dark lane at night when i first checked in.

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay. The staff were very attentive and always happy to help. Our room was on the ground floor next to the pool. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It is situated in the heart of Ubud, close to many restaurants and bars and not far from the Monkey Forest. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet place but off a busy street and easy walking to temples, shops, restaurants and rice fields. Incredibly good value for money. Nice breakfast and lovely staff. Pool looked great though we never got in because we were always out. They organised a motorbike to hire for 3 days which was great for exploring.
We booked a balcony room and ended up getting a ground floor but it was no big deal. Bedding is quite basic but for what you pay is absolutely acceptable.

Location
Dirty linen and toilet. Had to request fresh linen and ask them to clean the bathroom. Toilet and sink were cleaned with same cloths. Cleaned the bathroom myself with sanitizers.
Mold on pillow and holes in towels.
Tried to find alternative accommodation near town district but unfortunately everything was full, or we definitely would have walked out....needed to stay in area. Similar priced accommodation people we met we're staying on JL Bisma was much better.
Would not recommend.

We liked the location. Wasn’t too far from town. About a ten minute walk. The staff were friendly.
The bed was comfortable.
There was no safe or extra pillows available. Towels had holes in them. The second day no fresh water was given or room checked for cleaning

Very nice staff
Terrible breakfast - raw pancakes, raw eggs, cold toast
Couldn’t actually locate it - hard to find
