Mini pod experience with very understanding and caring host

Our host was very attentive. I set a entry time that ended up being not possible (due to late ferries) and they were checking in if we are okay. It was just one of those days where everything went sideways, and our host adapted to us without hestitation. There are nice amenities in the room. I found the location to be nice - close to nature and a big city simultaneously.

The parking felt a bit weird. You don't really have a dedicated parking spot, but you are on the side of the road - however you are also kind of at the end of an alley, so you have a feeling you are blocking the way. We've stayed in other glamping pods before and this was smaller, so that caught us by surprise a bit. We were not able to lock the outer door, no matter how we tried. The bathroom sink I understand recycles water, but it's also really hard to wash your hand there (or do anything), since it is very small and you have no space to move your hands (maybe a skill issue).

Cosy and warm

Charming wooden pod, with all the amenities you might need. Really friendly host who greeted us on arrival and recommended the best local spots. Pod was lovely and warm, clean and peaceful. It is situated at the end of the owner's garden but with full privacy and own entrance. Really convienient for what we needed and didn't feel too small for the time we spent there.

We thought we would have had a slight view of Ben Nevis but instead we looked onto an open drive.

A really pleasant experience in unusual accommodation, which has been very well designed.

The pod is really well furnished, equipped and very clean. Lots of information about Scotland was provided and the host was charming and gave us very useful advice regarding our onward journey.

Naturally, the bathroom is a small size, but, unless very careful, water splashes all over when using the tiny wash basin. We would also have appreciated a small mirror in the main part of the pod.

I love it! An experience to live.

the welcome of the owner and the two dogs. Home-like comfort. Complete and clean equipment for dining on site. The Jurassic Park and Highlanders DVD collection. The extensive library available. The peace and quiet of the place. I would have liked to stay there for several days. Thank you for this gem.

A little piece of heaving after walking 100 miles

Absolutely everything. The pod is incredibly cozy, stylish, and comfortable. Caro the host is so welcoming, accommodating of my requests, and helpful. I finished the West Highland Way and being able to stay in this pod was a godsend. Honestly didn't want to leave the couch.

Wonderful, marvellous, amazing

Lovely owner of the property who was very helpful. The pod had everything we needed - a comfortable bed and extra sofa-bed, fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, glasses, cutlery, shower and wc and even a dvd with a collection of films to watch and books to read. The pod looks small from the outside, but inside it is very comfortable and the space has been arranged so that nothing is missing. One of the best places I have been to!

The pod had everything you needed for a stay

Pod was situated at the back of a house with a lane way adjacent to it. There was no security for a car, with lots of local people walking pass and looking at you. The area near the pod needed up keep. If you have the right yard or caravan park pods are great

Perfect place for two

We loved absolutely everything. There is a lot of detail put into the pod. We especially enjoyed the Dvd collection. The kitchen was fully equipped also there is no stove which did not bother us. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. It is in walking distance to the city center of Fort William. Caro, the owner, was very friendly. We would 100 percent recommend a stay there.

Porch area was very useful work walking clothes & shoes - host very helpful and communicated well - good location close to Glencoe - love eco aspects of pod - good selection of books & dvds to detox

Amazing stay, great value for money.

Our stay was amazing. The pod had everything and more than what we expected!! Very clean and so organized and efficient. Nice to have DVDs :) Good location with parking space! The host was very tentative and provided a cot for our baby girl! Would definitely recommend it!!

Great glen way

Glen view pod is a perfect location and self-catering accommodation,it's around 10 minute walk to the brewers fayre and supermarkets and 20 minute walk to the high street were there are plenty of places to eat.and drink, facilities in the pod are very well laid out and bed is very comfortable,as was the sofa bed. shower pressure is great also. Honestly can't think of anything that I didn't like about my stay. owner is also very accommodating and friendly, will be back for another stay in the future .
