Nice place, we enjoyed our stay.

Location, parking , overall nice little place. We enjoyed our short stay watching beautiful hills in front of the property and sunset.

Enjoyable but glad it was only two nights.

Lovely location. Nice deck and views. Peaceful.

Size of shower, too small and cramped. Uncomfortable sofa. Bedside table crates barely fit for purpose. No bedside lights. Kitchen lacking basics, eg no salt, vinegar, kitchen roll, cling film, welcome basket. Knackered frying pan and table mats. Fire extinguisher was inaccessible at back of under sink cupboard. Overall, should be a much much better at this price point.

An amazing place to stay for a holiday or a break, and to enjoy the peace and nature.

Beautiful location and lovely lodge. Instructions on how to arrive were given clearly, and communication was very good. There was helpful information and instructions on things to do in the area, along with restaurant recommendations.

Wonderful and would stay again, would just bring some home comforts.

The views were beautiful, kitchen was good, had a dishwasher. It was isolated and a nice trip away. Good wi-fi. The sofa was comfortable and it was spacious. It was raining during our stay but the decking was wonderful and it would have been nice to sit out on it if it wasn't for the weather. Lots of Eco products for toiletries and cleaning was nice. We would come again happily. An important note: the nearest petrol station/convenience shop is about 15 minutes drive away.

The TV system didn't work. We could not get it to change channels, we think something was wrong with the remote. The shower was small, not a massive issue but a note for accessibility. We struggled with the beds as they were quite uncomfortable and the quilts were very thin. For somewhere up that high and in that climate, thicker quilts would have been nicer..

Location was amazing in amongst the countryside. The kids loved the bunk beds. The faciilities were good.

Top bunk was a bit squeaky. Shower was very small.

The views are amazing. It is so peaceful. Hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Lovely little hideaway for some R and R! Took our 5 year old who also didn’t want to leave :)

A tendency to catch our heads on the cooker hood corners. This was solved by putting an oven glove on each corner.

Amazing!

The views from this place are amazing (even in the rain!) The kitchen has everything you need including dishwasher tabs and washing up liquid. The products supplied are also very good quality and environmentally friendly. The property is very clean and the bed comfortable.

We didn’t realise the owners lived so close but we hardly noticed they were there. For people who like to watch the telly be aware there is very little reception (in the bad weather we had none) but there is a good DAB radio and plenty of dvds. However, with the huge bi fold doors and that view we were happy with no telly.

A great place to base yourself if you want to explore the area, or just chill out.

Haka Lodge is in a remote location, so bring food supplies! The views were to die for. The owner supplied dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, loo rolls, some tea and coffee :) The instructions to locate Haka were easy to follow. Onsite parking was available.

It's always nice when you have a welcome food pack, sadly this was not provided.
