Staying here was magical, and a rare opportunity.
Staying here was just divine! The Villa itself is a slice of history one rarely gets to delve into and we so appreciate Carlotta sharing her legacy. The furnishings were palace worthy and it was incredible to be allowed to roam the Villa freely and feel the magic! The grounds, complete with its own chapel, felt like a historical movie set. There is a wonderful restaurant in the lower level which offered a host of drink selections and tasty foods as well. A slight breakfast was included and most sufficient but an upgraded option was available for purchase should you desire cooked items.
While there is a large, private and safe parking lot, it is quite a distance with luggage. This was not a problem for us but be advised if you have mobility issues or if there is inclement weather it would be a measurable hike to the front door from the parking area.

Unique experience, trip highlight
This place is absolutely amazing! The villa feels like a living museum, owned by the same family for centuries, and it’s such a pleasure to spend time in this unique atmosphere. It was like visiting your hella rich Italian grandma. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. In the evening we enjoyed some local wine right on the property (there’s a wine bar too, but it happened to be closed on the day we arrived). The room was spotless and had everything we needed, breakfast was tasty, and the presence of animals on the grounds made the stay even more charming

Spectacular place
Very warm welcome, impressive villa, great atmosphere! Air conditioning was working!!! our appartment had comfortable beds and nice bathroom with the view! It was our second stay and we’ll definitely come back if travelling in the area.

Beautiful & tranquil stay at a property rich in history and charm
Carlotta was very kind and helpful. She shared with us the history of the property and gave us a tour of the main area. She was able to make us a reservation at the restaurant at the Villa. She also gave our children bread to feed to the animals on the property. We overslept the next morning and she was so kind and had her staff bring up some breakfast for us.

Beautiful stay
A was only there for one night, but the place is stunning and peaceful. The dinner as well as the breakfast was very good. I especially enjoyed the breakfast outside in the morning - waht a great way to start the day. They have dogs on the property which are super cute and relaxed - so extra Bonus, for all of us who love dogs.

Charming historical Villa in Bassano del Grappa
Villa Stecchini is a fantastic example of combining the feeling of being in old world Italy with being in a botique hotel. We enjoyed a glass of prosecco at check-in and took in the antique artwork and furniture that are all over the villa (and really make it special). There are horses, dogs, goats, ducks, and even a pig on the property which add to the feeling of being in a country Villa. There is also a restaurant on the property which shows off the massive wine cellar. It was extremely charming and we had a great 4-course dinner there. Carlotta, the proprietor, is amazing. She's extremely warm and welcoming and was helpful in recommending good hikes in the area and just general local knowledge. You can tell she really cares about the guests and the Villa and does everything with care and attention. Bonus: best wifi I had of all the places I stayed in Italy.
Nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely come back on our next trip to Bassano del Grappa.
