Ok but rear access not suitable for two ladies in the dark

Location

The bedroom and living room were a little dismal although the bathroom was nice and bright. Access wasn’t easy to find but we were helped by a young man from the shop at the front of the building.

Enjoyed this Centrally Located Apartment In Dumfries

I liked the amenities and that it wasn’t an induction stove so husband could also cook with simple buttons on the stove and oven. It had a bonus of a clothes dryer - hooray!

If I had to pick something it was the 41 steps up to the 2nd floor with the cases when we arrived. I had no problem with it on the in and out. Parking is whoever is there first and can be difficult if you aren’t back early. We only had a car for 2 of our 4 day stay (car rental 10 min walk away) so no issues.

Everything inside the property is excellent! Very nice indeed.

As a short sighted lens wearer who is now 'long sighted' too (age), the initial steep steps were iffy for me, and I wasn't crazy about the staircase either (though the handrail was a blessing).

ok but not worth the money

the code we received was not good. was still the code from previous visit and we were lucky we arrived just 5 minutes before 5pm so we could get help from the person in the shop and sorry but way too expansive for value. Only advantage is location but impossible to sleep with the noise

Comfy seating. Everything provided inc salt, pepper, oil, pint of milk, washing powder for washer/drier. Portable fan was brilliant in the heat. Everything well thought-out. Night light in kitchen was great. Ideal location in middle of town centre.

Car parking was 'first come first served' but we managed well. Wifi signal for phone (02) not good. Tv had intermittent interference, but ok.

Great stay. The owner was very helpful and communicative and made the check in process easy. The flat was a lovely, peaceful space with all the facilities we needed. Perfect for our stay in Dumfries whilst visiting family. Would recommend!
