Good value for money. Not outstanding but quite adequate.

Location is good to head in any direction. Host lovely and prepared breakfast and delivered it to the room every morning along with a selection of fruit.

Strangely first time ever had a room with no cover on the duvet. Only two lights in the room had bulbs in them and the outside one worked if you played about with it! Accommodation a bit dated. They are building a couple of new cabins maybe the older ones would then be upgraded

Amazing local hosts at a clean bungalow in a beautiful remote island

The host & her daughter were so funny and exceptionally welcoming! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay and were super helpful even with the language barrier. They were able to provide us 2 scooter rentals (koh yao yai was the only place in Thailand that I drove my own scooter it was very calm and remote). They brought us water and home made breakfast (the fried dough was amazing!) They were able to provide us a laundry service and our clothes came back very clean. I highly recommend staying at Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai and booking a Hong Island Boat Tour through the owner, it was our favorite boat tour that we did on our two months traveling throughout Thailand. The beaches were beautiful. It's a little away from the main tourist area which we found nice, a short 15 minute scooter ride if we wanted to get over to the resorts/ shopping. The bungalow was clean and we loved the owner's kitty's coconut would have my morning coffee with me while I worked remotely.

The Wi-fi is a little un-reliable. It worked well for my remote work but my boyfriend is a video editor and works with larger files so we would go to one of the resorts sometimes for him to upload. besides that our stay was perfect!

Oerfect

Set in beautiful grounds, right in the centre of Koh Yao Yai so easy to explore all areas with a moped (which you can rent from here). Beautifully quiet, surrounded by nature and exceptionally clean and well furnished rooms, including fridge and kettle. Nice warm shower, effective air conditioning and a lovely balcony to the front and back of the room. Lady running it is a total sweetheart and always smiling and happy to help with anything you need. Even brought us a plate of fresh fruit and a breakfast pastry each morning. Resident cats are also super friendly (especially the white one, who I have named ‘Coconut’. Closest restaurant is about 3 mins drive on the moped so you do need means of transport to get around (same for anywhere on this island).

Nothing - this was the perfect stay and we will definitely come back.

The location is perfect to explore most of the island. The host was very helpful, she made us breakfast every morning, free of charge. She even helped us to book a ferry for the car, because the staff on the ferry didn't speak english. She didn't speak english either, but evetything was done. The room and the balcony was very clean.

A simple setup of three, modern type bungalows. I was in, and would prefer the end one as it not behind the owners house/reception area. Felt a little more private and a slight view. The location is perfectly in center of island, so good access to either end. It does sit off the road so you get a little motorbike traffic entertainment, everything quiets early. Room had teapot, fridge, sitting area on terrace. Typical Thai bed, but I slept good. everything seems newer. While it was not a ‘breakfast included’ place, the owner brought a daily item to eat and a bottle of water , very nice. She also rents motorbikes. There are some very friendly cats - kind of looked forward to their begging.

The water out of taps was very brown. I don’t know what the pump/cistern system is, but I would not brush my teeth with it.

Very clean and lovely Bungalow

Nui is a lovely host, always helpful and smiling. She organised a brand new scooter for rent. The bungalow was always totally clean, aircon was great and surprisingly we got a nice breakfast every morning. We will definitely come back. We loved the quiet place a lot.

Can totally recommend!

Super nice and very clean bungalow in the middle of nature (you definitely need a scooter) with a comfy bed and two little balconies. Surprisingly got a delicious breakfast in the morning (once with bananas from their own trees). Loved having breakfast sitting on the balcony and having all nature around. Noi is the sweetest host you can imagine! :)

Owner is so nice, room (house) was perfectly clear, like in 5 star hotel. We rent a bike here for just 250 a day and were going around all island. We can still see weaving and smiling owner when we were leaving. Highly recommend

We couldn't ask for more! Noi is super nice and genuine, always made sure that everything was perfect. The bungalow was really cosy and spacious with a small terrace on the back and pleasant patio on the front. Above all it was sorrounded by a lush and beautiful garden. Location was also perfect: right in the middle of Ko Yao Yai so very comfortable to visit the whole island. Last but not least we were provided an unexpected delicious breakfast with local fruit a small local deserts. Do not hesitate to book here!

Nice hosts, annoying ants

The hosts were nice and overall the houses look nice and clean.

Unfortunately there were ants in my room and the water from the shower smelled bad, like sewage. After leaving the house I noticed that my clothes smelled like mold. The houses are located in the middle of nowhere, so you need a scooter.

outstanding service and a stunning place to stay!

the cabin is very clean and beautiful! The bed is comfortable and the aircon works perfectly! It has two balconies, one to the back with view on palm trees and a lake and one to the front. The owner Nui was soooo friendly and helpful. Her service was outstanding, she cleaned the room everyday, new towels and water and fresh sheets. Every day she welcomed us with a big smile and some fresh fruits for free! The location of the Stay is perfect, as you are more in the middle of the island, 10minutes to the next beach but also only 15 minutes to another beach in the whole different direction! From all the places we stayed at on the different islands in Thailand, this was our favourite place to stay!

Nui and In the owners are just very kind people very disposed to taking care of you. They offered us breakfast every morning on time( Thai breakfast)..always offered us fresh fruit or cocunut water to keep us hydrated.

At this time of the year, looking out for places to dine was not easy. A restaurant is a minimum 4 km ride.

Bardzo miło :)

Bardzo miły pobyt, właściciele sympatyczni i uprzejmi. Bez problemu można wypożyczyć skuter na miejscu za 250 batów za dzień. Kaski też są dostępne. W naszym domku było bardzo czysto, śniadanie serwowane na tarasie - wszystko było pyszne, bardzo różnorodne, do tego codziennie świeże owoce. Samo miejsce jest również bardzo urokliwe, domki położne w pięknym ogrodzie, w nocy słychać odgłosy natury. Warto skorzystać z wycieczki, która proponują właściciele - my byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, zarówno pod kątem północnej i południowej części wyspy.

Unkomplizierter Check-Inn und das Anleihen eines Motorrollers in der Unterkunft. Total herzlicher Empfang.

Die Matratzen der Betten sind für unseren Geschmack doch zu hart und das Bett quietscht bei jeder Bewegung. Zudem roch der Abfluss, man gewöhnt sich nach einer Zeit daran. Es herrscht ein gewisser Instandhaltungsstau, gerade wenn man sich die Ablagen im Badezimmer oder auch so Kleinigkeiten wie defekte Deckenlampen anschaut.

Bungalow tranquille, grande chambre bien climatisée. L’hôtesse nous a loué un scooter dès notre arrivée. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse du bungalow et elle les a offert. Idem pour le taxi pour retourner au port. Vraiment un super accueil où tout est fait pour faciliter le séjour.

El desayuno!! La señora (que es muy amable por cierto) lo hace diferente cada día, y te lo llevan a tu habitación. Extremadamente silencioso, lo cual es perfecto para un buen descanso (no hay ninguna mezquita cerca). Compramos con ella los tickets de bote para ir a Phi Phi ya que nos hizo descuento. Esta un poco alejado de restaurantes, pero con scooter se soluciona todo y es perfecta ubicación ya que estas en el medio de la isla para ir a un lado y otro de la misma

Gut aber leider viel zu teuer!

Es war sauber und die Lage ist OK. Das wir bei unserer frühen Abreise das Frühstück to Go bekommen haben. Am besten man mietet sich gleich einen Roller am Pear, so spart man sich das Taxi und ist direkt unabhängig. Hier gibts Roller für 200 Bath pro Tag und er bringt die Roller direkt zum Pear. Per WhatsApp: ‪+66 93 732 6350‬

Viel zu Teuer für das was geboten wird. 50 Euro pro Nacht, da muss schon geboten sein in Thailand. Für 20-25 Euro die Nacht würde ich nicht meckern aber es war lediglich eine sauber Hütte mit Klima und einem kleinen Balkon und einen gutem Frühstück das aufs Zimmer gebracht wurde. Aber 50 Euro pro Nacht sind hierfür nicht angemessen.
