Delta Hotels by Marriott New York Times Square

I did not take advantage of the breakfast I had an emergency and had to leave very early in the morning. I really enjoyed the complementry food/bar discount that we received. The beds were big and comfortable exactly as I like it.

The protest that was happening 2 hotels down. They were extremely loud to absolute no fault of the Delta Hotel at all. Just a distrubance. But the staff was extremely accommondating and placed us in a room on the other side of the hotel to which I extremely appreciated that.

-The VERY competent and friendly staff: from the front desk staff, to the restaurant and snack shop personnel, the cleaning crew, the "greeter,” the bell hops, and the Manager! We had a really great experience at this hotel, and it began with a friendly greeter who opened the door and welcomed us and all our luggage. This was immediately followed by a great reception at the front desk. The staff welcomed us warmly, recognized our Bonvoy status and special requests for a quiet room, and gave us tips on making the most of our stay. This included the $25/day restaurant perk which we could have easily overlooked had it not been clearly explained to us that if we did not use it starting on the first day we would lose it. We were so pleasantly surprised by the great hospitality that my husband and I looked at each other and wondered how we were so fortunate to locate this property in busy New York City. Although I do not recall all their names, the whole front desk staff was helpful. In particular, NATALIE at the front desk really personified great hospitality. She was attentive, knowledgeable and had a refreshing "can-do" attitude. Waldo and Keti at the restaurant were kind and accommodating and a young man at the snack shop (with bright yellow hair!) got to know us and was helpful. We did not personally meet the cleaning crew, but we greatly appreciated them as each day we found our room totally refreshed and clean. AHHH!!!!! It was inspiring to see this level of attention at a large property in an extremely busy and diverse city at a busy time of the year. We understood why the staff was this hospitable when we asked to speak to the MANAGER. From our interaction with her, we could tell she highly valued, prioritized, and expected true hospitality from her staff. It really does start from the top, and she should be commended for overseeing what we experienced to be a great operation in a sector that is challenging. KUDOS to the Delta Hotel team!

The elevators were sometimes very slow, probably because of how full the property was during our stay. But this pales in comparison to the many positives of this hotel.

It was located very close to Times Square. They offer you a free $25 food voucher which was super sweet. Staff was very friendly and helpful

The elevator was very slow on arrival. The lobby area and rugs was not hotel friendly at all
