Airy, spacious, all amenities, location to York city centre.
We could hear outside noise very clearly. It sounded as if there wasn’t any soundproofing.

Host Brian and his partner were fantastic. We were late arriving due to diabolical weather. They re-arranged their time to meet us. The heating was on, they showed us around property and told us where the local amenities were. Could not ask for better welcome
It was a little noisy when the pubs closed, but nothing bad, and nothing on the property itself

Flat was well equipped and near the attractions we had booked. Not too many stairs for my husband who has mobility issues.
Oven seal was detached from body of cooker.
Arrived hour early and contacted person who was greeting us however had to sit an hour in the car outside flat while they chased the keys - not their fault. Therefore better key arrangements outside office hours should be addressed.
