Second visit after 2 years

The breakfast (oh the breakfast!), the lovely furry friends, the garden, the rooms, the rainshowers, the cleanliness, the fact that we could relax like at home and yet still with a feeling of understated luxury with every small detail thought of. Most of all the people, in particular the hostess and her team, but also the other guests. We had 3 little children with us and not once were we made to feel that we were a nuissance, quite the opposite. Thank you for everything, we will be back again, no doubt!

We truly couldn't fault anything at all. Evelyne and her team go over and beyond for their guests.

Charming house and amazing breakfast

Amazing breakfast with very fresh and local ingredients. Beautiful house and nicely decorated rooms. Everything was clean and the beds had nice linen sheets. The hospitality of our hosts was outstanding.

Marvellous!!! 💕

We love pretty much everything about this property. The host were very accommodating and welcoming specially the owner! The communication was fantastic event though the owner was on her vacation! Evelyne made sure we are taken cared of! Breakfast was tasty and they served us delicious homemade pastries. Rivaldi and Luna was the sweetest pup ever!

The only concern that kids had was the temperature in their room. But everything was perfect.

Very quaint B&B with a homely feel and lovely garden

A very well run B&B on the outskirts of Namur which is a beautiful small city. Charming hostess and family who speak English very well. Bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but shower and bath worked fine. Spacious room with lovely personal touches and the ubiquitous Nespresso machine. Lovely small garden to sit around in the evening. Breakfast was with other guests and looked fine but we didn't eat.

A bit noisy on the main road and our room was noisy because of other guests leaving early. No a/c in our room so it was pretty hot at night. Too far to walk to the city centre but a good location to find by car with free parking. Quite pricey considering breakfast was not included

Les Jardin des Secrets is located 2.5 km from the city center, but the center is easily reached by a 20-30 minute walk along the river. The comfort of the flat went beyond expectations; we found a living room and a kitchen with the ease of many CDs available for those who want to listen to good music, a VHS and DVD player, and a working TV with a selection of movies in French. Upstairs we found a double bed and two single beds. All furnished in a beautiful style. The bathroom was functional and with all the accessories for a comfortable stay. There is also a garden outside the flat with two very affectionate dogs and a cat to sweeten the stay!

You can not imagine better hosts ! You are not just a simple tourist, you are valued, and treated very well. Wonderful homemade breakfast, with lots of love We were able to stay longer than expected, and were having a glass of wine in the living room. All in all, perfect, and will definitely not go anywhere else when I'll be heading to Namur

Lovely stay at a beautiful charming place!

In the city of Namur we found a beautiful garden of Eden with respect for every season. What a lovely stay we had here in the gorgeous terracotta room. Big fan of the huge breakfast with fresh orange juice and fruits, herbal teas, homemade pies, artisanal yoghurts, jams, cheeses, meats, eggs and so much more. Host Evelyne and partner Bruno do all to give you a perfect stay. Loving the house pets dog Vivaldi – dog Louna and cat Cupid. Such a nice charming place. :)

Tout est au top, l'emplacement, les équipements sont exceptionnels, nous n'avons jamais eu aussi bien (une vraie cuisine). Très belles terrasses. La nuit est calme. Notre hôte était charmante et elle place la barre haute.

Rien de dramatique, il y a quelques passages bas à l'étage sous poutre, si vous êtes très grand ça pourrait vous déranger.

Fijne plek om te verblijven. De Host is zeer gastvrij en legt alle bij aankomst goed uit. het huisje is gelegen achter het huis van de host is leuk qua inrichting en heeft 2 ruime balkons . De royale tuin achter het huis is ook toegankelijk.

It is true, a garden full of secrets

Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! Achter het hoofdverblijf is een groot stuk land, waar een tweede huis op is gebouwd, daar verbleven wij. Wat een positieve verassing! Het huisje was schoon en compleet ingericht zoals op de foto's, met een twee persoonsbed, 2 1-persoonsbedden, een woonkamer en keuken. Er was een terras met een tafel waar we buiten konden zitten en achter het huis is een enorme tuin. Ontzettend mooi. Je kan parkeren op het terrein. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Er zijn 2 honden op het terrein, waarvan je wel veel aandacht kan krijgen. Dus als je niet van honden houdt, hou hier rekening mee.

Prachtige locatie, heerlijke stad, fijne plek om te zijn

Namur/Namen is een prachtige (kleine) stad waar je naast prachtige wandelingen ook lekker kunt eten en waar het nog "rustiger" is. Zo kwamen we op deze locatie uit, net buiten de stad (klein halfuurtje wandelen), om een weekend te verblijven. Heerlijk grote ruimte, mooi uitzicht, rustig en van alle luxe voorzien

De huisdieren hebben vrij spel (denk ik) want de kattenharen zaten overal, er lagen wat dode vliegjes in de woonkamer en ook behoorlijk wat spinnen (natuurlijk het is de natuur, maar je kunt ook bepaalde ruimtes schoonmaken).

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Het kleine huisje ligt achter het hoofdhuis. Het is erg knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin er achter is heerlijk. En we hebben dan ook elke ochtend in de zon ontbeten. De bakker is op loop afstand. Voor de supermarkt moet je even met de auto. Als je naar Namur wilt kun je gaan lopen +/-25 minuten of je neemt de bus. De bushalte is verderop in de straat 4 minuten lopen. Die rijd je in 5 minuten naar het centrum.

Tegenvallen is een groot woord maar de slaapkamer boven heeft een erg laag dak. Als je lang bent kan dit lastig zijn.

Endroit décoré avec goût où l'accueil des hôtes est l'atout principal !

L'endroit est très cosy (les chambres sont très grandes) et décoré avec goût ! Salle de bain très moderne et literie très confortable. Facilité d'accès (même quand la propriétaire n'est pas là = code personnalisé) et bien situé. Petit déjeuner très complet et très varié, beaucoup de produits bio, sains et locaux. Propriétaire très à l'écoute et très complète dans l'accueil de ses hôtes.

La nuit, les chambres sont assez "froides" car ancienne bâtisse mais la grosse couette permets de se sentir bien au chaud. Il y a même la possibilité d'utiliser des couvertures et des bouillottes pour les grands frileux.
