The Quirky Coach House is a very nice place to stay close to the Hoe and centre of Plymouth.

The secure parking was excellent. All room sizes were good. The kitchen had everything we required. The location, close to the Hoe and town centre was ideal. Correspondence with the host was excellent. Any queries we had were dealt with swiftly.

Due to the Quirky nature of the property, the windows didn’t close and seal like double glazing which meant people outside the accommodation in the early hours likely from the pub opposite could be heard arguing and swearing clearly.

It's a small walk to the Barbican and the Hoe. In all, it's a place that values money, and we would be happy to stay in again if we were ever in Plymouth. Thanks for letting us use the Querky Coach House.

Cosy and comfortable

The house is lovely, cosy and clean. It has some beautiful artwork and original features. The host has done everything to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is very well resourced. We arrived late so the milk and biscuits that had been left were very much appreciated and a lovey touch. The parking is a major bonus.

It's an older property with single glazing and we found it quite noisy and this disturbed our sleep. Perhaps this was worse at a weekend and wpuldn't be as much of a problem during the week.

Fantastic and spacious place to stay within easy reach of seafront and city centre

A lovely, spacious, welcoming and well kitted out place to stay in Plymouth - set in a fab location within easy stroll of the seafront and bars / restaurants aplenty. Dorothea was a fantastic host - very communicative, it was a joy to stay in her lovely home! Will definitely be coming back!

We love the location and the accommodation. It feels like a home from home and we are looking forward to having a third visit. Due to an incident on the M5 were running late, but our host had popped into the apartment to put the heating on and made sure we had some supplies for a cuppa when we arrived.

the property is in a great location really close to Plymouth Hoe and the city centre. the property is Bigger than we expected so that was a nice surprise. the beds and bedding are comfortable and everywhere was clean. we were celebrating our mum’s 70th birthday and it was great base for us to meet with my brother who lives in Plymouth and celebrate all together

we liked everything, however the bedroom overlooking the walrus pub is a bit noisy at nighttime but nothing that disturbed us too much. also we thought it might be handy to have a welcome book in the property, just to explain a few things like the heating/Wi-Fi etc, but it was no big deal and we found everything we needed. we would use the quirky coach house again in the future when visiting my brother

The under property parking was excellent. The location was very convenient for amenities. The apartment was a real home from home and if we stay in the area again, we would love to stay here again.

The only quibble for us was the apparent wifi dead zone in the master bedroom. And this was of very little significance to our stay.

Great location, lovely house and friendly and welcoming hosts.

Dorothea & Marcus were welcoming and helpful. There was everything you could need, the house was clean and well taken care of. The location was perfect as it was close to all the tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend it.
