Just be careful, when you leave they just ask for money of damages which you didn’t do at all!!! Thanks god that booking don’t charge you right away!!! Everything was good till they mentioned this lies…

Place is huge, clean and very well maintained. You even have an access to backyard. Very close walking distance to everything.

If you have a car bigger then mini, parking is complicated. Property has a garage, but it’s very hard to park in there.

Ideal for a Weekend in San Giovanni

Great communication from the start and easy check-in instructions received via Whatsapp upon completing and uploading guest details (required by the Italian government). The hosts seem to be a operating company who run few guest houses. The property was really close to San Giovanni station and easily to reach from Milan. The place was large enough to accommodate 6-8 people however were only 3 of us staying to plenty of room. Flat was clean and everything in good working order. There is a nice cafe next door for coffee and pastry if you need and the town centre is literally 5 minutes walk away with lots of restaurants around. The ferry terminus was also not far away - can easily walk and buy the preferred ticket for the time (highly recommend) if planning on visiting other villages around the lake.

The apartment lacked natural light as sun disappears quite early on as the property is perched closer towards the hill and since visiting during the heatwave, the outside area wasnt of much use as the air-con fan is located outside which just blows warm air (could be ideal to use in Spring rather than in Summer on extremely hot days). Otherwise the flat was lovely, large and clean.

Ok but could have been excellent

Fairly central location, spacious apartment and nice outdoor space.

The apartment wasn’t particularly clean, with a lot of dust and cobwebs. The kitchen tap was broken and sprayed out water and both showers leaked onto the floor. The lock on one bathroom door was also temperamental. We communicated to the agency that the kitchen sink was leaking into the below cupboard and we were told that it would be difficult to find someone to fix this due to it now being August. We also returned one day to find part of the garden lifted up, with a battery and other components lying across the floor. On the same day, we also had no hot water. We communicated this to the agency and spoke with the owner on the phone who said there was no issue with the water and we must have had too many showers that day. This was not the case and we still continued to have cold water for a few hours. We also queried why the garden had been left in a mess and asked whether this was done by the people who watered the garden (who turned up unannounced) and the owner stated that they would not have done this and somebody else must have. We also raised the kitchen sink issue with the owner and he advised that this was the first he had heard of this issue (the agency clearly did not pass this on). We were also missing the basics, with only a couple of toilet rolls to last 10 days and no additional bin bags. There was also only one set of keys which made it a little difficult for us as a group of travellers. A pile of broken glass was also left in the corner of the outdoor space where the prior guests had broken the shower door.

we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!

the property is clean, except for some cub webs, and new. the kitchen is fully equipped with nice dishes and appliances. little front garden is cute. there is a washer in one of the bathrooms which we used for all the dirty clothes we had piled during our 3 week trip. it’s right by the train station but you don’t hear the train! very nice place!

the smaller room with a single bed doesn’t have A/C so I left my window open all night. I would have put a bunk bed in the smaller room to accommodate an additional guest. The bathroom fan made a loud and nasty noise which would wake everyone up if turned on. I would have preferred being greeted by our host in person, at some point. I found out that there was no cleaning services available but thankfully, we could do without.

The staff who gave instructions on the check in and out was excellent and responded immediately to all my queries.

It would've been more helpful if there were more explicit instructions on the waste sorting and temperature control in the accomodation.

All comforts just close to the city centre

The apartment is spacious and fully accessorised. It is right in the city centre, great the parking place with garage included.

The room was stinking a bit of mould, for the rest no negative sides. The price is high for one family, the best would be to split between friends or 2 couples.

Great apartment at a great location

The apartment is spacious, clean and cosy. The location is perfect for visiting Como! It is not directly on the main road and therefore quiet, but with a 10 minute walk you are in the centre of Como with all the bars, restaurant and cafés, or at the lake. A 25 minute walk away, there is Villa Olmo beach. All facilities were there and functional; the kitchen, the air-conditioning, the showers, the TV and internet. I would definitely recommend this!

Superb

The apartment is very big, modern, and very well equipped with everything that you need. The location had a separate entrance for this apartment which is on the ground floor and a private garden. The garage is quite big and tall for Italian standards. My 7 seat car (Renault Grand Scenic) with extra Thule box entered without any effort in this garage Lorenzo sent me via Whatsapp all the necessary information for collecting the keys and was very responsive to any question that I had during my journey. The location is close to the city center (a few minutes by foot).

The street can be a bit nosy because of the Italian scooters.

La struttura è grande, ordinata e dispone di tutto il necessario. Situata a dieci minuti a piedi sia dal centro che dallo stadio e dal lago, offre una posizione davvero comoda. L’arredamento moderno e i due bagni completano il quadro, rendendola una soluzione ideale per il soggiorno. Letti comodi.

Consiglierei lo shampoo da riempire, e non le bustine monouso. E consiglierei di "coccolare" il cliente con delle bustine del te' essendoci il bollitore.

Penetranter Schimmelgeruch

Wir wollten auf der Rückreise vom Südfrankreich-Urlaub am Comer See eine Pause einlegen und haben dieses Apartment gebucht. Schon beim Aufsperren kam uns ein starker Schimmelgeruch entgegen – im ganzen Apartment. Lüften half nichts. Nach Rückmeldung an die Betreiber hieß es erst, es würde gereinigt, was in dieser Situation aber nichts gebracht hätte. Nach langem Warten kam ein Angestellter, der den Geruch zunächst herunterspielen wollte, dann aber zugab, dass das Problem bekannt ist. Wir haben die Übernachtung abgelehnt – allein schon aus Sorge um unsere Kinder. Später haben wir in den Bewertungen gelesen, dass es wohl mal einen Wasserschaden gab. Das erklärt den Geruch, macht die Sache aber nicht besser. So ein Apartment trotzdem anzubieten, ist fahrlässig. Ich kann es niemandem empfehlen.

Die wohnung war modern, sehr gut gelegen und sauber. Alles was man braucht für einen kurzurlaub.

Leider hat man die feuchtigkeit vom wasserschaden immer noch gerochen. Wir mussten viel lüften und durchzug machen.

Le logement est spacieux et bien placé, il a été rénové récemment.
