Average. Not rushing back to stay here again.

What breakfast!? Location was good. Downside was the amount of steps to access actual property. Parking was tight but reasonably adequate. Local agent was very helpful regarding any queries. Kitchen area was clean and the shower room was excellent. Hoover was provided.

The furniture was tired, i.e. the armchairs had greasy patches on the arms. Some of the crockery was dirty in the cupboards. The carpet in the en-suite bathroom was minging (who has carpet in the bathroom now!?, very hygienic. Entrance hall was mucky but given that it was pissently raining down most of our stay that was understandable.

Great stay in beautiful Salcombe

Excellent location, great sea views. Flat is very spacious. Easy checkin.

Flat is badly in need of some care ie, carpets need cleaning and could benefit from a deep clean. Mattress was too firm for us and the pillows were awful(hard sponge!) feather alternative would be appreciated.

The location is excellent. The building within which the apartment is contained is well maintained.

The property was grubby, with stained and dirty cushions, carpets and arm rests. The property had a problem with flies. Dead flies were left littered in the window on our arrival. Sykes appeared unresponsive to messages and calls to rectify the issues.

Excellent relaxing holiday

The location was stunning. Fantastic views of the creek from the apartment and out to the bay. short walk from the beach and easy walking distance to salcome toen centre.

A| dishwasher would have been nice but the small kitchen was well organised and very workable.

Great views , lovely sitting room.

The view from the property. The sitting room was comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers.

Pillows were old and not all had protectors. Possibly because it's the end of the season. Both bins in the kitch were broken. No instruction about where to leave rubish, just that we had to empty the bins. We ended up taking it with us. There are steps from the car to the property as well as the ones up to the apartment.

They let us know with one day notice that there would be some scaffolding. This was very much underselling the amount of scaffolding. We could hardly use the balcony, the views were impacted severly and some of the windows were completly covered by scaffolding. Also, the landlord did not get back to us when we contacted them on the day of arrival and still has not, more than a week after we left (although we chased plenty of times).

the 2nd entrance door didn’t have a key and once I was trying to get in, it was shut and I locked out. duvet cover in 2nd bed smelt a perfume, presumably it wasn’t washed

Great location, great views from the lounge & spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed

Building works next door but that was only between 8-4 so didn’t affect us much
