Great location for quiet, relaxing beach and walking holiday near Salcombe.

Great, quiet location a short drive from Salcombe town itself. Fantastic access to beautiful coastal walks and to walk down to South Sands Beach (only shame was no dogs allowed over the Summer). Very well kitted out flat and kitchen. Utility room was a bonus. Second bedroom also very nicely furnished and ensuite great. Beach/Sea view from Master bedroom and veranda is very nice and lovely outdoor furniture for alfresco meals/drinks and reading.

Property was great all round except you can hear some noise from the flat above - especially at night it seemed (just with normal talking and their TV on). Worth bringing earplugs (for master bedroom) if you are a light sleeper or go to bed early. Location might not suit those looking for lots of eating out options within walking distance and no dogs on South Sands Beach in the Summer (May to Oct I think). Be aware that drive to Salcombe is along narrow lanes but is perfectly doable with patience and care.

South Sands is beautiful and the views from the apartment made it even better if that’s possible ….

Fantastic location. Firm beds . Private decking. Private parking. Washing machine and dishwasher. Amazing views .

Inadequate sound insulation and the arrangement of the upstairs flat’s living room over the main bedroom . We could hear every heavy footfall and the shouting and singing and their conversations until late . Luckily they were only there until the weekend and they left Sunday after which it was perfect. I’m sure if it was a family it would have been quieter but a group of couples over a weekend are going to be staying up and having fun …….

Definitely would stay again .

Beautiful views Very clean flat . bed very comfortable with view to South Sands . Enjoyed the ferry to Salcombe and the hotels for food at the bottom of the Hill in the evening.

Garden area could do with a tidy
