Fairview

The enclosed garden was great for my dog, and nice to sit in place was clean and tidy everything we needed bed was fabulous,lovely and quiet in the evening.

Abit of a trek to harbour very hilly if you struggle with walking, work was being done next door which was very noisy from 8am, no fault of accommodation.

Great location.

It’s a bit damp smelling being partly below ground. There are not enough chairs for 4 to sit round the table. No pot to make coffee.

We liked the space layout. Rooms were a good size. Comfy mattresses. The enclosed garden for our dog.was a lovely little haven. Very Well equipped , even a BBQ.

The main bedroom: The end of the bed had a nasty corner that both of us caught our knees on because it is right near the bedroom door access. The bruise was very nasty. Had to ice it for half an hour. Perhaps owner can look into different bed base with no corners to save anyone else's knees. Twin room: could bonus from blackout blinds/curtains. It's very bright at 5am!!! The washing machine was a GREAT bonus but no indoor airer to dry wet clothes. It rained most of our stay so we couldn't use outside rotary airer to peg out the washing. We ended up draping clothes all over the place. On top of wardrobe door which was unfortunately very dusty, ended up having to re-wash a few items because of this dust. Parking : We had to park maybe 15/20 meters down the road because there were 2 boat trailers taking up all the parking space. Lugging all our luggage down those outside steps to the property (ground floor) was no fun with a dodgy ankle.

Had a really good 5 nights away staying at Fairview - accommodation was really good - everything available to use to make the stay enjoyable - lovely little well kept garden to sit in if you wanted - a parking space which was brilliant - beds were comfortable and shower pressure was impressive! Really well equipped kitchen and so nice to have a dishwasher👍a useful shop just down the road - we were sorry To leave.

There was nothing to dislike.
