Mekong Pottery Homestay, Green-Friendly & Boat Tour

Charming property with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Host family are so welcoming. We used their free bikes to tour the potteries for several hours, their recommendation for dinner which was excellent and Yennie helped booking our bus for our ongoing journey. The town itself is worth a visit, lovely quiet countryside to explore, the room is clean, excellent breakfast and AC.

Yennie et sa famille offrent un accueil exceptionnel, à la fois très organisé et chaleureux. Les lieux sont très propres et pleins de détails soignés, charmants et astucieux. Les repas sont délicieux et très bien présentés. Le lieu est en harmonie avec l'environnement et la culture. Le site web regorge d'informations utiles pour prévoir son séjour, pour choisir un tour guidé ou prévoir où aller soi-même. Yennie est attentive et pleine de ressources, pour aider à organiser les activités, les tours guidés personnalisés en petit groupe et les aspects pratiques. Très bon tour guidé avec vélos dans les vergers et la campagne, et bateau, fabrique de poterie. Dans la grande chambre, encore un détail astucieux: la climatisation s'arrête quand nous enlevons la clé. Pas de risque d'oublier de l'éteindre. Les lits sont confortables. Pas de moustique en début août. Une cuisine extérieure est disponible.

C'est un détail, mais il semble moins facile dans la région de louer des scooters de 50cc qui ne nécessitent pas un permis. Et il fait chaud au début août 🙂

This place is a gem! The hospitality of Yenni and her family is outstanding and the homestay they created is serene. The premises are arranged in such a tasteful way and garden gives a sense of tranquility. The room was spacious, very well equipped and really creating an unique vibe through its decor. But foremostly the way we were welcomed and made feel like special guests - priceless! It is a great starting point to explore the Mekong delta and make sure you ask the hosts for tips and support - they will exceed your expectations :-)

I have stayed at many airbnb and homestay properties around the world and most of the time, the photos rarely match reality. Mekong Pottery Homestay is an outliner. It truly is a gem of Vinh Long! The room is in excellent care, clean as shown and all the amenities in the room are well thought out. I appreciate the hot breakfast with many selections as well as a curated menu to choose for lunch and dinner. One note: Oanh’s mom makes the best Cà Phê Sữa Đá!! Excellent stay! Highly recommended!
