Homestay très agréable et très propre tenu par un adorable jeune couple Jimmy et Daisy. Excentré, des vélos en bon état sont mis à disposition gratuitement pour explorer les lieux alentours. Guide local depuis de nombreuses années, Jimmy nous a emmenées visiter le marché flottant de Cai Rang suivi d’une visite en barque de la magnifique forêt de Mua Xuan située au cœur du delta du Mékong. Tour exceptionnel, riche en explications et émotions. Jimmy étant également très bon cuisinier, nous avons pu partager avec lui 3 repas, moments d’échanges inoubliables chargés d’émotions. En 3 mois de voyage à travers le Vietnam, le séjour à Can Tho aura été l’un des plus riches en terme d’échanges et d’émotions et ce, grâce à Jimmy et Daisy.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Homestay war einfach herausragend. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, sehr sauber und bieten eine rundum angenehme Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gastgeber Jimmy: unglaublich engagiert, herzlich und stets darum bemüht, den Aufenthalt so individuell und besonders wie möglich zu gestalten. Er hat uns nicht nur großartige Empfehlungen gegeben – sei es für einen gemütlichen Kaffeespot, einen authentischen Marktbesuch oder ein Restaurant unter Einheimischen – sondern hat an vielen Aktivitäten sogar persönlich teilgenommen, was das Erlebnis noch besonderer gemacht hat. Jimmy war jederzeit offen für alle Fragen und Wünsche und hat sich wirklich viel Zeit genommen, um sicherzustellen, dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Man merkt, mit wie viel Leidenschaft hier gearbeitet wird. Die Lage des Homestays ist angenehm ruhig und etwas abseits des großen Trubels, bietet aber dennoch gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung – für uns war das die perfekte Kombination aus Entspannung und Komfort. Wir können diese Unterkunft mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

As soon as we stepped out of our Grab, we were greeted by Jimmy’s huge grin 😁 one of the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. After a quick introduction, he showed us to our room… and wow, what a space. It was large and well-equipped, with a table, two chairs, fridge, kettle, and even a sofa. The lighting was really nice too, which helped my unwell girlfriend relax. Everything was spotless, and the bathroom was great, with a hot shower. There was also a good-sized balcony with a table and two chairs. In the evenings, Jimmy cooked us some fantastic dinners. Honestly, I’d rate his cooking above most of the restaurants we tried, and the chicken with passion fruit was a standout. Don’t miss out on Jimmy’s tours. We did the floating market and the forest tour, and both were interesting and very relaxing. I’d 100% recommend booking these through him. On our first morning, his lovely wife Daisy prepared us breakfast and coffee. We were also free to use the kitchen, so we even fried up a few extra eggs ourselves. The location might not suit everyone, but it was perfect for us as we wanted a few days to properly unwind. It’s about a 25-minute taxi ride from the airport and 15 minutes to the bus terminal. Jimmy also helped us book sleeper bus tickets, which made things really easy. If I’m ever back in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again 😁

IL faut savoir ce que l'on cherche !! Pour moi c'était tout à fait l'esprit du homestay, l'ambiance locale, le vrai Vietnam !!! le contact avec les hôtes, leurs disponibilités et services, (Jimmy et +) contact avec la famille, .... encore aujourd'hui !!, (Daisy), Vous êtes à la maison !!!
