Homestay Bentre Coco Lodge

Beautiful, spacious rooms with decorations and furniture chosen with attention to detail. Exactly as shown in pictures. Sheets and covers were of quality (unexpected for this price range in Vietnam!) Tucked amidst canals and coconut trees. I could rent a scooter and use the bicycle for free.

Bathroom is clean but a normal bathroom for Vietnam (i.e. dont expect screens and separation between shower and toilet). Restaurant options slightly limited (its a homestay so I can understand).

I stayed here for one night. I'm traveling solo and had a wonderful experience. The house is surrounded by greenery, and the rooms around the owners' residence are spacious and very quiet — a true haven of peace. The food is excellent: freshly prepared by them, using genuine ingredients. Bicycles are available for free to explore the surrounding area, as well as scooter rental for those who want to get around independently — a great way to discover the Mekong Delta at your own pace. The owner is extremely helpful and assists you with everything during your stay. He also speaks good English, so communication is easy. He personally arranged my transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City and even accompanied me himself to the meeting point — very kind of him. He also arranged a river excursion, which turned out to be really lovely. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic experience in the Mekong Delta, away from mass tourism, with a personal touch of warmth that makes all the difference.

Before arriving, I was a bit worried because I hadn't received a reply to my message. But this is truly a family-run place, and managing communications remotely can sometimes be a bit challenging. Once I arrived, any concern I had disappeared.

It is an excellent location in the heart of everything but also peaceful. Mr Thai and his family were very accommodating. They have a beautiful home and it is very authentic. The property itself has a beautiful garden pond, fish, and animals. They offer scooters to rent, which made it so easy to get around everywhere. They also have free bicycles that anyone can use. They provide great recommendations on places to visit and help you book all the different tours that are very worthwhile doing. They offer homemade meals that are really amazing food. You can either have a four course meal or just have one delicious dish.

Soluzione carinissima a circa 15 minuti di auto dal centro di Ben Tre. Immersa tra le piantagioni di cocco, molto tranquilla e curata. Dispone di bici che si possono usare gratuitamente e offre anche diversi tour a pagamento. Colazione inclusa molto buona. Noi non ne abbiamo usufruito, ma volendo si può anche cenare lì.
