Ba Danh Homestay & Kitchen - Ben Tre Mekong

We stayed for 7 nights. The host and lovely staff take great care of the property and make you feel truly welcome. Breakfast included is a highlight, with different homemade Vietnamese dishes every morning, prepared with fresh ingredients, many from the garden. Lunch and dinner can also be arranged in advance, so you can enjoy a meal without leaving the homestay. The Zig Zag tour is a good way to discover more of the area and its culture.

We loved our stay at Ba Danh homestay! It was so peaceful and restful - the perfect place to relax in the hammocks and recuperate! We felt so well looked after by Si and his family and the food was INCREDIBLE! We enjoyed cycling around the village (bicycles available for free), going on a serene local guided boat tour of the Mekong river and going canoeing. The rooms were clean and had mosquito nets over the beds. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and more authentic experience of Mekong.

The fan in the room next to ours was unusually loud (sounded like it needed fixing), which kept us up some nights. But otherwise, no complaints!

Very relaxing place to stay, staff and locals were very friendly. We were only going to stay a couple of nights and ended up staying for 5 days.

Nothing we didn't like but if you venture off on bikes or mopeds make sure you take notes of landmarks and follow the directions the host gives you on Whatsapp because google maps will get you lost.
