Great bungalow!

We had Beach House No 2 and it was a fantastic bungalow. A lot of space in front of the house. Right at the beach is a bar with good food and music (not loud, very relaxed) and massage. Employees are very nice. We also loved the small private pool.

Beach is not beautiful, because of stones and jellyfishes difficult to go for a swim. But still much better and more relaxed than Raylay Beach (millions of tourists and jellyfishes).

Solo traveller with a 3 year old

I travelled alone with my 3 year old and stayed at the beach front 2 bedroom villa. For a couple, a group of friends or a small family, the place would be perfect. They had a projector you could use to watch movies. The private pool was a moderate size. There was a small open kitchen if you prefer to cook yourself or go to the cafe next door otherwise if you have your own car you can explore the places around. Make sure to keep the doors closed to keep your room free from any insects.

Pretty villa but impractical and damp

Beautiful communal area and pool. Stunning setting and design. Projector in front of the pool is cool. Staff communicated well.

The rooms are very poorly thought out, with the toilet and the shower actually in the bedroom, affording no privacy and meaning smells mix. The two upstairs rooms were very damp, even causing some people to pick up coughs. Despite being expensive, the laundry service was of poor quality and left stains on our clothes and dirtied whites.

A wonderful stay in this beautiful, roomy and comfortable villa that will delight families.

The Villa is gorgeous, well decorated and spacious. Staff very helpful - they organised all the activities we wanted to do with pick-up and drop-off from and to the villa for a seamless experience. other services possible such as breakfast, laundry or massage so very handy.

Although well located between Ao Nang and Ao Nam Mao,some may prefer a large hotel with on site services as there aren't any restaurants at walking distance and we had to resort to tuk tuk/ taxi for all our trips.

Wonderful property would highly recommend.

We liked everything about this property, it was really well thought out and perfect for our family of 4. The location was brilliant too, with a choice of good bars and restaurants all within a 5 min walk along the beach.

Photos are false advertisement - VERY BASIC

Beach location. Great outside space to hang out and enjoy the area.

For the price point they market as a luxury eco villa. It is definitely not that, it’s true eco and budget friendly. I felt ripped off paying the price I did and seeing the advertised photos of a luxury eco beach villa. Expectation vs reality very different. Power cut on our last day meant no power and no water. We got absolutely ravaged by mosquitoes. Everything felt dated and needed an upgrade. Old and faded bath towels. Leaking bathroom sink. Creaking floorboards. No hot water in bathroom. Okay as a 1 night gimmick stay but no more than that. Pretty shocked at what we paid for this vs the quality upon arrival. Wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely beach front house, next to beach bars at the bottom of the property. Loved the location and the property.

No mosquito net. And the property comes with a projector which my kids were looking forward to using, but the projector needs either updating or replacing as it does not support Netflix, and while you can log into Netflix when you try to play anything you are presented with an error message saying the device is not compatible.

Stunning property, best to have a car.

A beautiful property with a gorgeous garden and pool. The design is stunning and it was amazing to see so many birds. There are tracks into palm oil and rubber forests which made for great walks.

It would be great if there were some sun loungers in the garden as the only seating is inside. The banisters on the high staircases are very unsafe with gaps in them. The bedrooms have to be locked from the inside to keep the doors shut, which is inconvenient for families. There aren’t really any cafes or restaurants that you can walk to from the property as its a very busy road into town.

Pretty accommodation and easy beach access, just off main road and 10mins walk to pier for easy access to Railay beaches. The host was very helpful in helping with booking transfers and local information.

Open bathrooms and kitchen/sitting area, can’t avoid mosquitoes and flies. It is high time to change towels. Recommend to change towels every day especially when you are with kids. Due to ants around we couldn’t enjoy beach side also

Passable

It was a little out of town, which was nice because it was quiet and private. It is very easy to book a cab for about 400 thb to the town centre. The private pool was also nice and air-conditioning in bedrooms. There is plenty of complimentary bottled water as well :)

Housekeeping didn't attend one day (we were out from 730am-2pm), which meant we were out of toilet paper and fresh towels. There were no tea towels to dry dishes. There was a leak from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs bathroom, and the showers didn't drain well, which meant you ended up showering in a pool of water. Additionally, there was a cat that we couldn't get rid of that urinated on our bags and brought a snake back to our Villa.

Nice place but be ready to live outdoors

Beautiful setting, lovely garden, really nice and kind owners. They even got us a new pan and we didn’t even ask.

Although the villas are independent, you can really hear the neighbors next door as most of the activity takes place outdoors. Only the bedrooms are indoors. Also, obviously lots of mosquitoes in the evenings since the kitchen and living areas are outdoors. Overall it is a nice place but a bit overpriced for what you get.

- Die Lage direkt am Strand war wunderschön - Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge - Viele Restaurants und Cafés unmittelbar nebenan mit Strandlage - Der Gastgeber war stets erreichbar

Leider waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Es sollte ein Highlight unserer Reise werden, entpuppte sich jedoch stattdessen als große Enttäuschung hinsichtlich Preis-Leistung. Die Unterkunft entsprach in mehreren wesentlichen Punkten nicht der Beschreibung und den Bildern, sowie den Bewertungen auf Booking.com. Die Villa am Strand, in der wir untergebracht waren, wich davon erheblich ab, ebenso wie die in der Buchung angegebenen Ausstattungsmerkmale (zB kein Kinderhochstuhl, keine Spülmaschine, falsche Bettengröße angegeben etc). Darüber hinaus würden wir vor allem für Reisende mit kleinen Kindern die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen: An der Terrasse gab es ungesicherte Absturzkanten zu allen Seiten von ca. 1 Meter Tiefe. Mit kleinen Kindern absolut unentspannt. Ein Babybett wurde im Vorfeld angefragt und vom Gastgeber zugesagt, war vor Ort jedoch dann plötzlich doch nicht verfügbar. Weitere Beeinträchtigungen waren Lärmbelästigung (laute Nachbarn mit Partys/ Musik und Straßenlärm) sowie die Tatsache, dass das Reinigungspersonal nur Zutritt erhielt, wenn wir persönlich anwesend waren, um das Eingangstor aufzuschließen, was unseren Aufenthalt zusätzlich verkomplizierte. Darüber hinaus war die Unterkunft bei Ankunft nicht sauber (ein trüber Pool, dessen Grund man nur erahnen konnte, stark verschmutzte und nach Katzenurin riechende Polster, unangenehmer Geruch in den Schlafzimmern, Müll im Garten,…). Am zweiten Abend entdeckten wir dann Ratten in der Küche, der Kot war überall. Da wir mit einem Kleinkind und einem Baby angereist sind, hatten wir große Sorgen um die Gesundheit und Sicherheit unserer Kinder. Die Reinigungskräfte entfernten den Kot äußerst unhygienisch – mit demselben Besen wurde anschließend über Geschirr und Gläser im Schrank gefegt.

Top Lage aber keine top Villa

Die Lage ist einzigartig und einfach top! Das Gefühl, welches man in der Villa hat ist auch wirklich sehr gut. Direkt neben der Villa ist das Joy Beach Café/Restaurant, in dem man sehr gut essen kann.

Die Villa ist in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt . Es bedarf dringend einer Modernisierung. Den Preis den man für die Villa bezahlt ist den Aufenthalt nicht wert. Da gibt es definitiv andere Alternativen.

Basen i kino, miejsce spotkań w salonie. Świetny kontakt z właścicielką. Na życzenie wymiana ręczników i posprzątanie pokojów.

Na zdjęciach obiekt wygląda jak z bajki. W rzeczywistości niestety tak nie jest. Brud, obdrapane ściany i zlew w kuchni do całkowitej wymiany. Odkryta przestrzeń kuchenno jadalniana - przez to wchodziły i hałasowały nocą koty. Załatwiały się na blacie kuchennym. Po zgłoszeniu właścicielowi natychmiast posprzątano, ale niesmak pozostał. W pewnym momencie nie mieliśmy ochoty jeść w kuchni.. wyposażenie kuchenne w szafkach ok, niestety wszystko stoi na podłodze (nie ma półek w szafce)jest zakurzone i brudne. Żaby skaczą po talerzach itp. Okropny zapach stęchlizny w pokojach. Lodówka poza strefą kuchenną - gdy padał deszcz trzeba było moknąć by wyjąć jedzenie z lodówki. Największym minusem była toaleta centralnie przy łóżku, odgrodzone ścianka ceglana. Mało przyjemne załatwiać się metr od leżącego na łóżku partnera :) Prysznic po drugiej stronie łóżka tak samo. Jak słuchawka została przypadkowa skierowana na ściankę działową to przeciekało na lozko. Jeżeli komuś nie przeszkadzają jaszczurki to ok, dla nas nie było to aż tak straszne :) chodziły po ścianach ale były malutkie i niegroźne. Ogólnie podsumowując miało być egzotycznie ale nie sądziłam, że aż tak. Przeliczyliśmy się..

Es cómoda pero no repetiría

La villa cuenta con aspectos muy positivos: la cama y las almohadas fueron realmente cómodas, y la piscina es sin duda un gran punto a favor para disfrutar de la estancia, y el proyector para ver Netflix.

No obstante, encontramos algunos aspectos que podrían mejorar. A nuestra llegada, nos indicaron que la villa estaría disponible a las 13:00, pero a las 13:30 todavía se estaba limpiando. Nos invitaron a entrar mientras seguían con las labores de limpieza, lo que resultó un poco incómodo. Además, notamos que ciertas áreas necesitaban más mantenimiento, como la cocina, los utensilios y el lavabo, que presentaba una fuga de agua. Tampoco te ofrecen ni agua gratis, cuando en otros alojamientos te ponen botellas... Consideramos que, dado el precio de la villa, que es bastante más elevado en comparación con otros alojamientos en los que hemos estado, sería recomendable que todo estuviese en condiciones impecables, ya que hemos tenido experiencias excelentes en lugares mucho más económicos.

La ubicación enfrente del mar y de zona de restauración local. El personal super amable y la limpieza impecable.

Has de ser tolerante a los insectos y “animalitos” que andan sueltos. Aunque la limpieza es excelente, estas en plena naturaleza, el baño es a cielo abierto y puedes tener alguna visita sorpresa. Si tienes fobia a lad arañas, lagartijas etc mejor no vayas.
