A spacious and beautifully designed villa in a perfect location near Long Beach, I truly enjoyed my stay.!

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Lila in Koh Lanta. My apartment was spacious, modern, and filled with natural light, which made it feel instantly welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure and was kept spotless. I really appreciated having filtered water available in the kitchen, such a thoughtful detail. The pool looked very nice, facing the jungle, but I didn’t end up using it since I preferred walking to the beach instead. The location near Long Beach was ideal: close to restaurants and shops, yet still peaceful enough to feel like a retreat. Overall, Villa Lila gave me the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and a great setting for my stay.

While my stay at Villa Lila was overall very good, there were a couple of things that bothered me. The door to the main bedroom couldn’t be closed fully and was difficult to open. it seemed to get stuck against the floor after closing it more than halfway, which was quite annoying. I also heard banging noises at night that sounded like a door slamming shut, but I couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. These issues didn’t ruin my stay, but they were noticeable. The bathroom was spacious and nicely designed, but I noticed some mold around the bathroom sealant.

Love Lila

Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful week stay at villa Lila, the location was great, complex lovely with a nice swimming pool and the owners and staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, really so helpful. Food was lovely, we had a couple of meals at the pool bar. Cookie even kindly arranged a birthday cake for our granddaughter during our stay.

Incredible stay

The property was beautiful, really modern but felt like home I loved my stay here!! The staff were also incredible??? As a solo traveller the weather wasn’t the best and the really made me feel welcome and at home!!! I will definitely return if I come back to koh lanta

Great place for families to stay but you get charged for electricity use

Excellent 2 bed apartment with great kitchen facilities, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery & cutlery. 2 separate bedrooms with very comfy extra large beds. Amazing sea views from the balcony

It’s only once you book do you find out you have to pay for the electricity used, they take a picture of the meter when you arrive and then on your departure day, it’s charged at 7baht a KW (which is expensive) we paid 1115 baht for 6 nights stay we only had AC on in the evening

Luxury in Lanta

Everything about the venue is great. The pictures are exactly what the venue is. It's new, has a full gym, co-working space, and pool. Yes, you need to pay for electricity, but after a month running the AC almost every day, we still only spent $75 USD.

Both roads to the villa are dangerous. I am a seasoned scooter driver, and it was a rough ride even for me. Tuk Tuks won't take you up the whole way either; you need to get out and walk in the dark a bit, so if you have mobility issues, just be aware. The owner says it will be fixed soon, however, so check with them before booking to make sure!

Not much, as usual the photos flatter this place.

Staff, uninterested and surly. Twin apartment was extremely grubby and not cleaned. Fixtures and fittings need major upgrades. Showers literally falling apart. Fridge had never been cleaned. Safe was locked and never got opened even after asking. Promised apartment would be cleaned twice a week and only happened after 5 days when I told them it hadn't been done. Beware there is building work going on every side of the complex. Pool area very cramped, very poor design of the whole area. Constant noise from the staff yacking all Day at the bar/kitchen area with no seeming interest in guests. Note you will also be charged for electric at the end of the stay.

It was absolutely stunning. The rooms, and the grounds with the gorgeous pool. We loved everything about this property. Will definitely be doing a long term stay in the future! Khun Apple was so helpful and kind to us.

The food provided was extremely good. It really made the stay better. The view from the property and the quiet, peaceful surroundings were perfect.

The pool was being repaired so we could not use it during our stay. But we were given a discount by the host as compensation.

Everything, the place was awesome , excellent staff, couldn't do enough for us. Food at the pool bar was some of the best food we had eaten in Thailand, definitely would stay here again

Home away from home

[Hospitality] Staying with Cookie and Frasse feels like home. Kitty is always warm and attentive, we'd stay for months if we could. [Location] Loved the peace away from noisy roads, yet within a 5min ride to some great food, and just next to a dive centre and muay thai gym that felt like part of an extended family. [Food] We stopped eating Thai food outside because the best we tried was always still at the Villa Lila bistro. And smoothies by the pool are so refreshing on a hot day! [Remote working] I worked 2 out of 3 weeks (and would stay for months if I could), and the table setup + internet was very conducive. [Facilities] Very clean throughout. Pool and gym are well-maintained. Laundry (at a cost/kg) comes back within the day and smells terrific.

Nous sommes arrivé le ménage été mal fait , durant nos 4 nuits aucune femme de ménage est venue , nous avons jamais vidées nos poubelles , des mégots on été trouvé sous le lavabos , une serviette de douche salle et un plat de poisson moisie dans le micro onde , aucune fois le personnel nous a donné des serviettes propres ni changé nos draps La Clim d’une chambre est tombé en panne Pour 1200€ pour 4 nuits c’est pas terrible ….

Prima apartement, maar de service en onderhoud laat de wensen over.

Locatie is iets wat ver van zee en hoofdweg, maar als je een auto hebt is het prima. Appartementen zijn groot dus dat is heel Comfortabel. Daarnaast het restaurantje dat bij het zwembad ligt, heeft echt geweldig eten (beste van eiland)

Service was helaas zeer teleurstellend (dat terwijl ik in de reviews andere dingen las). Personeel is niet behulpzaam, zijn veel aan het scrollen op hun telefoon en als je iets vraagt krijg je een geërgerde blik. Daarnaast waren dingen die kapot zijn (prullenbakken, keukenapparatuur) of aan vervangingen toe zijn zoals de badkamer (zeer verouderd) of schuifpui die niet eens dicht kan. Daarnaast hebben de slaapkamers bijvoorbeeld ook geen gordijnen. Al met al kan het complex wel een onderhoudsbeurt gebruiken (verven, etc) maar daar lijkt niemand oog voor te hebben.

De accomodatie ligt op een mooie rustige plaats plek van de hoofdweg af,maar alles wat je nodig heb is op loopafstand te doen. De menukaart is niet groot,maar wat ze serveren is fantastisch.

Het laatste straatje is hobbelig en met de scooter is dat opletten ,maar wel te doen .

Très bel appartement

L appartement est très grand, moderne et lumineux. Au loin, il y une tres belle vue sur la mer. La piscine est agréable.

Pour 6 jours, nous avons payé 40 euros de frais d électricité non inclus dans le tarif. Pourtant, la climatisation tournait uniquement dans les chambres la nuit. La journée, il y avait pas mal de bruits a cause de travaux.

Super schöne Unterkunft! Das Bett war so gemütlich, dass ich es gerne auch zuhause hätte! Toll war auch, dass Trinkwasser aus der Leitung kommt. Wunderschöner Ausblick (Sonnenuntergang) vom Balkon!

Leider hatten wir ein paar Kakerlaken, war aber in den meisten Unterkünften während der Regenzeit der Fall… vielleicht nicht so gut vermeidbar. Die Lage ist auch nicht die Beste, wenn man einen Roller hat aber kein Problem!
