Peaceful home away from home

The hosts were amazing! So, so friendly, helpful, welcoming. Nothing is too much to ask. Easy to rent a scooter with no passport or deposit during your stay at the time of my booking. The owner came to introduce himself and welcome me to the property. I had a small issue late at night and he came to fix it. I just messaged the WhatsApp number and he came right away. Really comfortable and nice rooms. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you don’t mind getting tuktuk or hiring a scooter.

Great owner and hotel. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great location: up a dusty road off of the main drag, so close enough to walk to 7-Eleven and several restaurants but far enough away that it was very quiet. Thawhat the owner is an absolute gem! He, along with his staff, are all incredibly nice. They recently started including breakfast, which improved on the daily, and included simple toast, lots of sliced fruit, and eggs to order. We stayed with our kids in the double King room above the main lobby area. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. AC worked great. The location is small, quiet, with a nice refreshing pool just large enough for 5 to 10 people to lounge at comfortably. Luckily, the resort is small and they were rarely that many people there anyway. This place was really cute and would highly recommend!

Metal roofs make for some loud sounds (normal due to temperature variation outside and air conditioned inside, or when leaves and nuts drop from trees in the wind), but it didn’t bother us.

A fabulous hotel in Koh Lanta

A fantastic hotel in Koh Lanta. The location is perfect, set back from the road so it is quiet yet just a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The room was clean and very comfortable, we had use of a kitchen shared with the adjacent apartment, with our own fridge and there were plenty of glasses, dishes etc. The garden view from the balcony was lovely. The pool was great and although small was perfect for a cooling dip and there were always loungers and shade available. The stand out here though were the fantastic staff who were so welcoming, friendly and helpful; they helped us with scooter hire and any questions.. I would definitely recommend Thawat Villa and return if in Koh Lanta.

Amazing and peaceful location, friendly and attentive staff, and overall positive experience.

Location was perfect. The villas are located down a long driveway so it was very peaceful and quiet at night but still had numerous restaurants and a 7 Eleven all within short walking distance. Breakfast was not included in our booking, however, the lovely hosts offered us fresh fruit, nibbles, coffee and juice each morning. They also had bike rental at the property and offered taxi services. Overall amazing experience.

Everything about this property was amazing from the staff to the beautiful bungalows nestled around a beautiful garden with swimming pool . I would highly recommend staying here to anyone . The staff made us feel so welcome and we will 100 percent be returning ❤️

Thank you very much for this accomodation. The owner is very helpful. The place is beautiful. Owner will help you with everything you need. Room is spacious and well equipped. You can also borrow motorbike or snorkeling equipment. He also arranged for us transfer to pier. We highly reccomend this accomodation. We will definitely come back next year! <3

Quiet, clean, nice pool, super friendly staff!

Absolute recommendation for this hidden gem! The owner Thawat and the whole staff were extremely friendly, helpful with everything - organizing motor bikes rental or airport transfer. The room was clean, the bathroom had warm water, enough water pressure and even a rain shower and a mobile shower as well. The aircon worked good, the swimming pool was clean and had massage jets. The Hotel was a bit away from the noisy main road and very quiet, but still just 5min walk to everything you need. My room even had a fully equipped kitchen (which I personally never used but if you would cook it seemed to have everything you need). The hotel dog Nikki was such a friendly sweet heart and was also a lot of times coming with me to the main road :) I enjoyed my stay there and even extended.

Everything was actually really, really good and also a great value for money! If I have to mention anything at all - maybe like an advice - a part of the road leading to the hotel at night is completely dark and unpaved, so watch your step, especially after rain and take a torch(!) with you. The bathroom and the kitchen are a bit connected to the outside, so it’s very humid & hot there and sometimes the nature (bugs or lizards;) can come to visit you, but even in that case Thawat will help you if you are afraid ;)

Great little place

Had a great 9 days here. Excellent location close to beach and restaurants. Thawat is a super helpful owner if you need anything. Internet was very fast so great for nomads. Will definitely stay here again.

Super vriendelijk ontvangen. Prachtig appartement op de boven verdieping met alle gemakken. Zwembad voor de verkoeling. Heerlijk ontbijtje. Vooral de horren in de ramen. S’avonds een lekker windje door de kamer ipv airco. Die was er trouwens wel.

De handdoeken waren van een raar stofje. En dat was het enige minpuntje

Lage sehr ruhig, weil etwas entfernt von der Hauptstraße, was wir als sehr gut empfanden. Ruhig gelegen, toller und zuvorkommender Host. Relativ neue Anlage, fast alle Wünsche wurden uns von den Augen abgelesen, besser gehts fast nicht in Thailand.

Perfekter Aufenthalt – wie bei Freunden

Unser Aufenthalt auf Koh Lanta war einfach großartig. Unser Vermieter war unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Wir durften in der Family Garden Suite in seinem Wohnhaus wohnen und hatten dort eine wirklich wunderbare Zeit. Zu Weihnachten hat er unseren Kindern kleine Geschenke gebracht, an meinem Geburtstag gab es sogar ein Ständchen und einen richtig leckeren Kuchen – das war etwas ganz Besonderes für uns. Meine Kinder haben sich sofort in die 15-jährige Hündin Nici verliebt, die für sie schnell zum festen Teil des Urlaubs wurde. Praktisch war auch, dass wir unsere Wäsche direkt im Resort waschen konnten und bereits am ersten Tag ein Scooter für uns bereitstand – völlig unkompliziert. Alles war perfekt organisiert, familiär und mit ganz viel Herz gemacht. Vielen Dank für alles, mein Freund – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Schickes Resort mit aber hohem Preis

Appartment mit schicken Pool und guter Aussattung. Da die anderen Gäste oft nicht hier waren, hatte man den Pool für sich alleine. Moped konnte man sich direkt bei Thawat leihen. Anlage ist videoüberwacht. Gute Klimaanlage.

Weg zur Unterkunft ist nicht betoniert, sehr viele tiefe Löcher (schwierig mit Motorrad). Bei Regen Außenbereich (Küche) nicht ganz dicht. Stellenweise lief das Wasser rein. Reinigung erfolgt nur auf Nachfrage. Preis/Leistung stimmte leider gar nicht, vmtl. da wir spät gebucht haben. Für diesen Preis gibt es zentralere bessere Hotels.
