A spacious cottage,
stunning views over the bay and Atlantic (outer Hebrides) ,
good beds,
fantastic wildlife (many birds)
no lights nor sound in the wide surrounding (other than the wind - birds and sheep)
-Internet is so slow that we were not able to use our laptop to plan next day activities
-the abstraction hood kept dripping oil (I wiped and cleaned it but next morning it was still there (this was on day of arrival not our cooking)
-in the "house" booklet is not advised how to get hot water (we found that instruction later)
-the shower drainage in the main bathroom does run very slow, creating a huge pool when showering
-due to the surface I struggle on initial arrival up the driveway (wheel spin)

Super quiet picturesque location clean warm, well maintained with everything you could need. Great local walk to waternish point 3hrs (take binoculars and see seals). 30 mins to Portree for supermarket to stock up on the way. Skyeskyns Yurt, down the lane, served wonderful cake.
potholes on the road enroute from fairy bridge- (I know this is absolutely nothing to do with the Bitacora owner), but made a slow last hop of the journey. We found the approach from the top road via the old church better.

El mayor lujo de esta casa, es su ubicación. Las vistas son espectaculares, y muy especiales. En frente tienes a un mar, montañas, acantilados, y un clima que cambia constantemente, dándole una apariencia diferente cada día. No nos cansamos de verlo, tomarle fotos, pintarlo. Además, hay ovejas sueltas por ahí, así que puedes desayunar dentro, viendo las ovejas pastar. Todo muy idílico. La casa es de muy buen tamaño, cabrían bien seis personas. La sala es muy grande, lo cual es inusual. También el comedor.
Los sofás, camas, y alfombra muy cómodas. El agua sale caliente y siempre está regulado el tener algo de calefacción. Aún en verano hace falta, así que nosotros estuvimos felices.
Está en una población rural, que se presta para que vayas a caminar alrededor o a correr. Aunque para llegar es importante tener coche. A unos cinco minutos en coche hay un café muy rico, donde hay una tenería.
Hay muchos aparatos que no entendimos bien cómo funcionaban, o que nos tardamos en hacerlo. Por ejemplo, hasta el último día nos dimos cuenta que para que funcionara bien el Internet, había que conectar otro aparato. (La señal en general es mala en toda la isla). Para encender la ducha del baño principal, debes encender un botón que queda afuera del baño. Siempre que intentamos usar la secadora, se paraba. Sugerimos que estos aspectos los incluyan en el manual que ya tienen.
