A fine place to relax at about the end of the world
A spacious cottage, stunning views over the bay and Atlantic (outer Hebrides) , good beds, fantastic wildlife (many birds) no lights nor sound in the wide surrounding (other than the wind - birds and sheep)
-Internet is so slow that we were not able to use our laptop to plan next day activities -the abstraction hood kept dripping oil (I wiped and cleaned it but next morning it was still there (this was on day of arrival not our cooking) -in the "house" booklet is not advised how to get hot water (we found that instruction later) -the shower drainage in the main bathroom does run very slow, creating a huge pool when showering -due to the surface I struggle on initial arrival up the driveway (wheel spin)

Take an extra memory card as the light on the view changes into 'the best one' every few mins.
Super quiet picturesque location clean warm, well maintained with everything you could need. Great local walk to waternish point 3hrs (take binoculars and see seals). 30 mins to Portree for supermarket to stock up on the way. Skyeskyns Yurt, down the lane, served wonderful cake.
potholes on the road enroute from fairy bridge- (I know this is absolutely nothing to do with the Bitacora owner), but made a slow last hop of the journey. We found the approach from the top road via the old church better.

A relaxing and comfortable stay at the end of the world!
Spacious, comfortable, warm, well equipped, sea views, good pub and wildlife cruise not far away.
Very remote, closest shop 14 miles

A spacious, comfortable house with a stunning view.
Very remote but beautiful location. Spacious, comfortable house. So quiet and peaceful.
The driveway is a challenge and there was no internet, T.V. or radio as no reception the whole week.

    Very good stay.
A remote location, quiet and very picturesque. The three bed cottage is well equipped for a family of up to five overlooking Ardmore Bay. The layout having a separate living & dining offers families to have simultaneous activities at the same time.
The internet at the property was poor and unreliable. I strongly encourage the owners to upgrade the internet at the property. Its important, especially for foreign visitors to have good internet. Its probably the only drawback from receiving excellent scoring from us.

    Great !
Immaculately clean , well equipped . Very easy to get hold of owner and he even came back to give us cooking oil on first day . Beautiful surroundings .
It is quite remote . It is on hill . U definitely need car , preferably 4/4 .you need car anyway to commute on isle of sky from point A to point B . But the property location add further distance . No doubt , you need to travel 30 min at least for groceries . Michelin star restoring is close but very difficult to get table . So , u need to go and get groceries and make your own tea .

Though the apartment was excellent and we enjoyed our stay, we are shocked and angry a week later!
Remote location with good view, quiet:no disturbance and apparently few cars passed by, large rooms with plenty of space, good kitchen equipment, pleasant decoration, all on ground floor no need to climb stairs, washing machine, and good wifi.
The main trouble was that the owner told us that a unremovable stain was found on the drawer of a bedside unit in the master bedroom and accused us of causing the dirt on 22 June 1023. The owner said that we would be charged for the repair cost. While we had certainly not done anything causing the so call "stain", we had checked out of the apartment on 14 June 2023. We wonder what happened after we left and whether the stein was there when we checked in! We are troubled and annoyed. Future guests may consider checking carefully all around to notice if there are any problems, or even take photos as a precaution. I have been using booking.com for many years to book accommodation at various countries and it is the first time that I have come across an accuse by an owner. We are greatly disappointed by the unreasonable accuse and claim. We would certainly reflect our disappointment and experience through various means as well as lodging a complaint towards the unreasonable treatment on us. Furthermore, the water outlet in the separate bath room was not functioning well, resulting in some flooding and slippery floor. There were many midges outside the house and their bites caused much discomfort to us.
