Lots of good things here.
Location was great for our weekend of music at The Waterloo.
On street parking with a resident permit. Had no problem getting a parking spot.
Good size apartment, big rooms. Slightly in need of a spruce up with the decor but nothing major.
Very clean and welcoming.
TV - good size, all the apps available.
Overall, well stocked with all the basics you need for a short stay.
Felt safe, quiet street with hardly any traffic or people, minimal noise from neighbours.
Warm, plenty of hot water, could open windows if needed.
Good selection of basic breakfast and brew supplies including fresh milk.
Full size fridge and freezer.
Plenty of towels and extra blankets.
Shop a short walk away, supermarket close enough to be convenient.
Train station just round the corner but far enough so no train noise.
Good communication.
This could be an exceptional apartment with just a few tweaks. Improvements in the comfort and a better showerhead would make a huge difference.
This is a great property and it wouldn't take much to make it a real favourite.
A few negatives that did affect the overall score.
Bed - hard and uncomfortable, cheap mattress.
Sofa - hard and uncomfortable, even when covered with the extra blankets.
Shower - very basic, poor position and unable to adjust height or spray type. It had disco lights though!
Too low for anyone over about 5'7" to shower easily. A new, good quality showerhead and proper overhead fitting would fix this.
Washing machine out of order. (Maybe temporary as it was Easter weekend and could be difficult to get it repaired quickly)
Unfortunately it felt like comfort wasn't considered when the furniture was chosen. This impacted our stay significantly as we could neither sit or sleep in comfort.
Price increase of £70 between original booking and our stay made it a bit more expensive than we felt was appropriate with the above issues.
We are regular visitors to Blackpool and this property has potential to be our go-to accommodation with just a little work.
Hopefully constructive comments that will be considered as we would happily return if the above points were rectified and price not increased further.

Overall average stay. Every thing clean no issues there. Bed and sofa pretty uncomfortable, shower very poor. Nice touch having water and milk in the fridge for us. But expected more than cereal for breakfast.
