The proprietor (Flo) and her staff alike all very welcoming and helpful. Room size was just right, quiete and plenty of plugs for charging and a large tv for entertainment. Breakfast was lovely and was even offered beverages every time upon entering even though there were facilities to make my own. The location is close enough for the City of Doncaster, easy to find, parking facilities available either outside or across the road and a shop/supermarket in the local vicinity within 5 min walking distance. They also cater and do incredible work for the homeless of Doncaster and as such supplies may be noticed in corridors but doesn't act as a fire hazard or distraction from a lovely old building with original features and artefact's of the victorian era. If one is into period features this is a lovely place to visit in its original form. Well recommended and look forward to using again when in the local area.
Just a small note that I noticed until I found out why, that upon first impressions, walking through the gate up to the front door there was a lot of waste crates/rubbish lying about which unless you know why, may put some people off. The proprietor and her staff are also looking after 100+ homeless people across the whole of Doncaster and are doing commendable and tireless work and I just happened to stumble through on a day they had a delivery the day prior.

A very friendly household, really enjoyed the conversations there. Excellent and copious breakfast. Straightforward efficient shower, comfortable beds. Just off the A1 and a Tesco Extra nearby for reasonably priced petrol so makes a convenient stopping off point.
I was very happy with the family style arrangements of the place but I suppose some might want a more formal stay.
