The location is both a pro and a con for this apartment. Ideal for exploring Kelso but the micropub immediately below it was SO noisy until very late at night/early hours of the morning. Ear plugs were an absolute essential.
The beds were comfy. The shower was lovely and powerful. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking outside was easy. Excellent communication from the host.
The noise level at night was awful.
The layout of turning the living room into a bedroom was awkward and would have rapidly become annoying if staying for more than 2 nights. Creeping through that “bedroom” where the kids were sleeping to access the bathroom or kitchen, plus not having anywhere to sit and eat, is less than ideal.

Such a lovely comfortable and bright little apartment, had everything we needed, towels and bed linen smelled lovely and fresh, chairs and bed very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and great location. Quans Chinese takeaway away just around the corner was superb too, lovely shower etc.
The stairs didn't phase us,all good exercise 😊👍

The outside sitting area was not clean and tidy and the seats were not comfortable, not good enough to sit out.
