It is a lovely cosy and surprisingly quite apartment when considering it is situated above The Cobbles pub.
Had all amenities you would need for a short stay.
It was homely, with nice pictures and furnishings.
If being pedantic, there are a couple of holes in walls where doors have been opened in to them, which could be filled and painted over just to make it look a little better.
But I would say that these in no way detracted from our stay.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Kelso. A number of excellent pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Parking was excellent.
I honestly couldn't think of anything I could find fault with. There are two flights of stairs, so if you have mobility issues, this could be a problem, but this is clearly shown in details of the property.

The location was excellent. We loved the food and people in the pub below. It was very cosy.
It really needs a good clean. Spider webs and dust everywhere. We asked for a cot and they told us to provide bedding, which we did, however there was no mattress in the cot. I would have assumed there would be a mattress and we wouldn’t need to take our own…also I think investing in a new stair gate would be advised.
