The stairs! These are very steep and very high (2 stories). The furniture is a bit tired but it was clean. Some kind of dryer/airer is essential if the washing machine is used. Some soap in the bathroom would have been good.

Nice stay in a good apartment that could be great with a few improvements

Great location, comfortable bed, well equipped apartment.Great power shower

Entrance courtyard could do with a spruce up. Small windows and adjacent buildings meant the rooms were dark and a light was needed, even during the day. The windows could do with some maintenance. The stairs were challenging.

The location was fabulous, right in town centre. Beds very really comfortable with nice bedding.

The lack of welcome and attention to detail. The kitchen is poorly equipped with the basics like cutlery and crockery. A pint of milk in the fridge with coffee and tea makes all the difference on first impressions after a long journey

It was clean, spacious, warm. Excellent kitchen, good shower and very comfortable bed and bedding.

No curtains, no coffee table. The sofa looks a bit tired. It just felt like it needed a bit of softening up?

Good value and close to the town centre.

Set right in the middle of town with parking close by. Easy check in via the pub downstairs staff very helpful. Well equipped apartment with decent kitchen equipment. bathroom was spacious. Given its so central you don't have to walk far to reach local amenities on the market square.

Only problem for me was the fact its up some steep and numerous stairs. Ok if your mobility is fine but a bit of hard work if not.

Comfort in Kelso

Ideal location. Comfortable beds. Very well fitted and equipped. Loved the walk in shower. We had everything we needed. There was a separate kitchen which was well supplied with everything. Comfortable seating in the living room and a good television all added to our enjoyment. I

Perhaps the only drawback was that the apartment is up two flights of stairs. So one learned not to climb up and down too often.

It was a little hot and we couldn’t get the living room window open - we did visit when the weather was quite warm though, I imagine it would be really cosy in the colder weather!

Great location. Lovely beds. Enough of everything to have a comfortable stay.

Not a usual problem and it didn't affect our rating but there were lots of spiders on the bathroom ceiling whose eggs hatched so we had hundreds of spiderlings to deal with. Our grandchildren weren't too happy with that😂

Very pleasant comfortable stay

The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. It had everything I needed for my stay. The owner was helpful and easily contactable. The property was easy to access and in a great location. Overall I will seriously consider using this property again when I'm next working in the area.

the property is very central and has plenty of FREE parking available. well done scotland as FREE parking was readily available where ever we went.👏

the couch in the living area was a little low and there was room for an arm chair and maybe a lamp to make it more homely. we were pre warned about the stairs and noise but the location over came these problems
