Perfect relaxing break and luxurious accomodation

Great country escape in a warm modern building

It was a fantastic building with great views, very comfortable with all the home comforts..we were there in November and the wood fire was absolutely glorious

The wood fire and abundant supply for it, large space for 4 of us but still cosy feel, all you would need there, comfortable beds and great hot tub

A 2 day stay was enough.

Quiet location. Welcome pack including sparkling cava. Good shower. Good TV. Clean and tidy. Warm and comfortable.

Our main criticism was over the second “ bedroom”, this was a very small room with 2 single beds and nothing else, no bedside table no wardrobe, literally nothing. It was too small to get any furniture in. If 4 people were sharing it would be embarrassing having to decide who would get this room. Luckily the couple joining us couldn’t make it and although initially we were disappointed it was a relief when we saw the accommodation. We had asked for sheets and blanket to be put on our bed but this was ignored and we had a thick duvet. The hot tub looked murky so we didn’t use it. At just under :£500 for 2 nights we thought this was not particularly good value. We would suggest turning the 2nd bedroom into a smart dressing room as there is no proper wardrobe in the main bedroom either. Then renting out as luxury accommodation to couples only… for which it is more suited. Also please use white sheets pillow cases and towels. They were all different and all odd mis matched colours.

Luxury lodge with stunning views and hot tub.

Stunning property in a scenic location with excellent facilities, beautiful decor and everything catered for a cosy and relaxing stay. Thanks for the prosecco and treats! Fresh flowers and house plants added to the homeliness. Lots to see and do in the area and we made sure that we spent some time enjoying the accommodation and grounds. We all loved the hot tub.

A luxurious lodge in a quiet and very scenic location.

The property was superb in all respects with everything you would need. The views were superb from the all-glass frontage. Outdoor there is a hot-tub and various seating and lounging furniture all around the property so you can follow the sun without re-locating your chair. Such attention to detail is apparent throughout the property. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and they supply an excellent welcome pack along-with logs for the tub and interior wood-burner. The location is in the country and very quiet and peaceful yet you are only a very short drive to Kelso and all its amenities. Highly recommended property!

Relaxation HEAVEN!

We absolutely adored our stay at the Tweed Hideaway. The location, the facilities and the little added touches made our trip so special and it was such a pleasure to meet our host Maggie, who couldn't have been any more welcoming or generous - it truly was such a special place.

We had an amazing time, one of the best times away, can’t wait to be back.

We stayed in the ‘Eden lodge’ , it was immaculate, couldn’t fault anything. It was extremely clean and could tell it’s very well looked after. You get the best of everything. So worth your money, 100% would recommend for a nice chill peaceful time away with your family, friends or your partner. We will be back.

A lovely way to recharge.

It was amazing. Privacy, all the mod cons. Strategically placed outside furniture to admire the view and watch the sun come up and go down. Tastefully and thoughtfully done inside too. Loved it. I would add serenity to the list of adjectives to describe it.
