Relax and unwind in style at this welcoming apartment in the heart of the market town of Kelso. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, it’s the perfect accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who are dreaming of a stylish retreat to call home while they explore the stunning Scottish Borders together. Kick off your day by casting off in the River Tweed, which is famous for its excellent salmon and trout fishing. Afterwards, head off to explore ‘The Gem of the Scottish Borders’: the 18th-century Floors Castle (2 miles), to stroll around its spectacular Victorian Walled Gardens and discover the woodland and riverside trails. Alternatively, tee off at Kelso Golf Club (1 mile), or have a flutter at Kelso Racecourse (1.5 miles). While you’re there, check out the historic grandstand – one of the oldest sporting buildings in Scotland – which was built in 1822.
Step inside this beautiful home and you’ll find a welcoming hall with plenty of space to store your outdoor gear. Head through to the lounge – a stylish space that’s bathed in natural light from the large windows. When it’s time to eat, make your way to the smart kitchen/diner to channel your inner chef.
