We had a wonderful stay in “La Vendemia.” The house was perfect for my family (my wife and I, our three teenagers, and my wife's parents). We have visited many parts of Switzerland over the last twenty years and La Vendemia will stand out among all of our trips for the amazing view from its patio and the bedroom balcony. It is amazing from sunrise until late at night. (The picture of the view that the owner has posted doesn't actually capture how nice the view is.) In terms of basics, the house had everything we needed (including a dishwasher and washing machine). Internet was fine, but not spectacular. There is a nice-sized yard and you have lots of privacy. There is parking space for at least three cars, and the bus stop in Carona is not too far away by foot. The house is about a 3-5 minute walk from the center of the small town of Carona. This town is charming: it has narrow passageways to walk through, several restaurants, and old churches. You can also walk a little bit further to the beautiful Parco San Grato. A longer hike up to the top of San Salvatore is possible. It can be a little steep and rugged, but my 83 year-old father-in-law made the journey there and back just fine. A longer walk to Morcote is also possible. The owner was responsive to messages and proactive in reaching out to us. All in all, I highly recommend this house if you are looking for a relaxing place to spend some time.

We had a great time at La Vendemmia in Carona. The house is fantastic and maximises the view from every room. The house has everything you need and is as advertised. The log fire is great and compliments the heating during the evenings especially when you can see snow on the mountains opposite. The garden is enclosed so our dog could run around freely. The location is peaceful which suits us perfectly but only a short walk to the village of Carona or 20min drive to Lugano but is also well placed for hiking and cycling with multiple routes on the doorstep. Communication with Bergith was excellent. Would love to return. Thank you Bergith!

Das Haus liegt grandios am Rand von Carona. Sehr schönes Tessiner Haus mit Fensterfront zur Seeseite, sodass man den Blick auch bei schlechteren Wetter genießen kann. Küche Ist sehr gut ausgestattet, leider standen etwas wenig Handtücher zur Verfügung. Aber insgesamt hat es u s sehr gut gefallen.

Wir haben sehr schöne 10 Tage in diesen schönen Haus verbracht. Es hat alles im Haus und man darf es auch benutzen! Bücher, Riesen Auswahl an Gesellschaftsspielen , alles was man nur brauchen könnte in der Küche, usw. Wir haben schöne Ausflüge z.B. alpe Vicania, Parco san Grato, Swiss Miniature, gemacht. Herrlich mit dem Hund zum spazieren und wandern. Und ums Haus einen schönen grossen Garten zum Spielen, und schöne Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den Luganersee.

Wir haben die paar Tage sehr genossen. Schönes, geräumiges Haus. Gut eingerichtet (in der Küche fehlt gar nichts) mit allem was man braucht. Grosser eingezäunter Garten an welchem nicht nur unser Hund viel Spass hatte. Sehr ruhige Lage. Das Haus ist das Letzte in der Strasse. Und dann die umwerfende Aussicht auf den Lago di Lugano und die umliegenden Berge. Traumhaft. Wir hoffen wieder hingehen zu können.

Das war eine wunderschöne Zeit mit vielen Facetten. Wir erwischten einige Tage mit strahlender Sonne und konnten zwischen Wandern in den Bergen oder Baden im Luganersee (unsere Empfehlung: Lido di Lugano) aussuchen. Dann überraschte uns das Wetter mit einem Gewitter-Spektakel. Bei solchem verregneten Wetter zeigen die großen Fenster des Hauses ein Landschaft-Kino – das muss man erlebt haben. Die atemberaubende Aussicht, die Berge, die Wolken, der Regen, der See – all das kann man stundenlang ansehen und auf Fernsehen und Internet verzichten. Eine pure Unterhaltung! Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und zwar mit ALLEM!!! Das können wir – als oft Reisende – sehr gut beurteilen. Es bietet für Kinder und Erwachsene ausreichend an. Der Garten macht das verweilen noch bequemer. Man hat seine Ruhe, genießt die Natur und ist doch in 20 Minuten im Lugano. Ja, die Fahrten gehen den Berg hoch und runter und bedeuten sehr kurvige und steile Straßen. Das ist aber auszuhalten. Die Abwicklung mit der Besitzerin war super leicht und funktionierte reibungslos. Das Haus, der Garten und die Umgebung sind in der Beschreibung sogar etwas untertrieben dargestellt. Es ist in der Tat schöner. Kurzum – der gesamte Urlaub war klasse und das Objekt ist eine 100%ige Empfehlung!!! DANKE

Wunderschönes Haus mit großem Garten, der für Kinder traumhaft ist. Einen Pool haben wir absolut nicht vermisst, da das schöne Freibad von Carona ganz in der Nähe ist. Die Aussicht über den Luganer See und Richtung Italien ist umwerfend. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Grancia - mit dem Auto ca. 20 Min. Oder in Carona das kleine Alimentari Denise. Restaurants in der Nähe: La Sosta, La Posta, oder in Ciona die Osteria Ciona. Die Küche im Haus ist jedoch so gut ausgestattet, und die Terrasse zum gemütlich essen so schön, dass wir nicht außer Haus essen wollten. Gelungene, schöne Ferientage für die ganze Familie.
