Absolutely, Stuart! Here’s a reworded version with a warm, friendly tone while keeping all the key details clear:---A charming house in a fantastic location! The property is full of character, well-furnished, and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Brigette was incredibly welcoming and stayed in touch to make check-in and check-out smooth and easy. While there’s no parking directly at the house, free public parking is conveniently located just a couple of minutes’ walk away. One thing to note: a 400 cash deposit is required on arrival, which we hadn’t spotted in the property listing—so worth being prepared. All in all, a lovely place to stay and a great base for exploring the area.

The house was well equipped with everything you could need, but had its problems. It was well furnished but the chairs in the lounge area were not very comfortable.
The bedrooms had plenty of linen, but we had to make up the beds ourselves. There was no storage for clothing in any of them apart from a small shelf unit in the double bedroom on the top floor. Unfortunately this was filled with the many, unnecessary, cushions from the bed. There is no parking at the house and we had to leave our car in a public carpark s short walk away.
That said, it is in a great location. Very close to the beach and within easy reach of the Operation Overlord sites.
The biggest thing to be aware of is the need to pay a €400 refundable deposit on arrival. The owner does not take credit cards, so we had to accompany her to an ATM to get cash. This means we are left with this cash. This was the only time we used cash on the whole trip, so this is a huge inconvenience. And will probably incur a cost when converting back to sterling. I can find no mention of this deposit anywhere in the many emails from VRBO and really think this should be made clear.

Although this was a house of character, it wasn't clean in certain areas. Bedroom top floor. Washing machine soap dispenser had to be cleaned before we could use machine. TV was intermittent. Brigitte was a nice host but communicating in English for her was difficult so not quite living up to the discription on VRBO website.

The property was as advertised - fully equipped, clean, and spacious.
The host was readily available to greet and welcome us, and couldn't be more accommodating.
It was an excellent stay and I would recommend this property.

Good communication from owner throughout and flexible to suit our needs such as early morning checkout. Beach, shops, cafes, bus stops and parking all very close by but in lovely quiet street.

Great place by the beach
The place was just as described and was great for our family. 15 minute drive to the Juno Beach Centre which was our detonation and only maybe 50 meters to the beach boardwalk.

75th Normandy
Three couples stayed at the house which was 50 yards from Juno Beach. The location was great. Just around the corner was a small grocery store selling everything we needed. Kind and gracious hostess met us near midnight upon our arrival. Lovely sunny kitchen nicely furnished. Excellent wi-fi. All and all a great place to stay on the Normandy coast. Parking is a couple of blocks away.

Excellent location, very comfortable and homely.
Walking distance to the small town, which has amongst other shops: a small supermarket, boulongerie, tourist office and plenty of restaurants and eateries. We particularly enjoyed Le Bain des Mots; a café style restaurant overlooking the beach, where you sit surrounded by books.
The Canadian Juno Beach museum was excellent; as was the Memorial Museum, Caen; the Pegasus Bridge museum and Arromanches.
The house has everything you need for a comfortable holiday, just be sure to pack your sheets and duvet covers, be prepared to squash the square pillows into our UK rectangular cases! Alternatively you can hire bedding. If the weather is chilly there is ample electric heating.

Great place to stay on the beach in Normandy
The owner was helpful and the house immaculate. The kitchen was well-equipped. As mentioned in other posts she charges extra for sheets and you need to bring 400 Euro cash deposit-which she returns if everything is in order. We would love to go back! (Be sure to bring your own toilet paper!)

Wonderful location
We had a wonderful time and this was a perfect location to all the D-Day sites that we wanted to see. The house was great, beds comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. We did have some small communication issues with the owner as our French was limited, but overall, Brigette was very accommodating to all of our needs.

Tasteful and central
We unfortunately only had three nights to spend here. The house was well equipped, tastefully decorated and incredibly well situated. Owner and her sister welcoming, proactive in communication, ensured everything was handed over smoothly.
There is so much to do and see of historic value in nearby area and then added to that, the property proximity to the beach, the ability/joy of just being able to stroll and explore in St Aubin. We think staying a few days more would have been ideal, would love to return one day. Boulangerie highly recommended.

Simplicity at its best...
We absolutely loved our stay in St-Aubin-Sur-Mer. Brigette and her daughter were very kind and helpful, showing us everything we needed to know about the apartment. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and absolutely beautiful. The location could not be beat. We were close to Juno beach, restaurants, and a small market. Best of all the boulangerie was just around the corner. We stayed with our adult son and his fiancee - and it was perfect. We ate on the patio when the weather was lovely, and in the dining room when it wasn't. We spent every morning enjoying coffee in the sunroom. This is not in a busy town. There is not a night life to speak of. The restaurants were good, but not much variety. We are still planning on a return visit to not only enjoy the beaches, but as a base to explore Normandy outside the beaches and WWII history. Thank you for a lovely and memorable holiday.

House was an interesting mix and a good value in a nice location
This house was extremely clean and interesting architecturally. It was generally well appointed but from an American perspective there were things missing. There was an unexpected (and not cheap) charge for sheets as an example, although towels are included. Overall rate was reasonable but there was no extra toilet paper and no fresh soap. We had to put the sheets on the beds after arrival. Kitchen had more amenities than expected. There is a stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave and plenty of dishes and glasses and cooking equipment. Gardens needed effort. The family that owns it are friendly but unless you speak French expect it to be a challenge. They really only communicate anything more than basics in French - including the contract. Furniture was not really comfortable even though it was relatively attractive. Location around the corner from the store and a block from the beach. There was a substantial security deposit - cash - due on arrival but we did get it all back on departure. Neighborhood was pretty and seemed safe. Restaurants were close. There is no air-conditioning, although we did not need it. It is necessary to close either the window curtains or the shutters at night due to a large town security light outside the bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is a powder room and laundry area on the first floor. Showers are nice. Plumbing fixtures are all new. There is one hair dryer and an ironing board and iron... washing machine - no dryer. It was overall charming and an English language contract would have potentially solved most of our surprises upon arrival. Aubin Sur Mer is a lovely little beach town. It's a bit of a drive to the Normandy sites ... so a car is necessary - parking is a couple of blocks down the street - not immediately adjacent to the house... but viable.

Lovely holiday home!
We stayed here last week with our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. We all loved this house - just a short walk from the sandy beach and very convenient for the local shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking nearby and a small supermarket a few minutes away. Another added bonus was the availability of free Wifi.
The house has been beautifully renovated - we found the bedrooms very comfortable and the two bathrooms were invaluable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials as well as plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The small garden was great for morning coffee and a glass or two of wine in the evening!
Brigitte, the owner was very responsive from the beginning, replying promptly to emails and answering all our questions despite my limited French.
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring this lovely little town and the spectacular Normandy beaches. We can particularly recommend Le Crabe Vert for pizzas and the amazing cakes and pastries from the local boulangerie.
We have no hesitation in recommending this house for anyone looking for a base from which to explore this historic part of the coast.

Wonderful Stay in Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, France
Brigitte thought of everything, her kitchen was better equipped than my own kitchen even though we did not cook in, there were just so many wonderful restaurants within walking distance we wanted to try. The location is great for relaxing, just a block off the beach. It is about 45 minutes from Normandy and about a 20 minutes from Caen. We loved the home with such European Charm and so spacious. Having the outside patio was a real plus. With six of us, there was plenty of space. Thank you Brigitte for sharing your home.

Hope to return
My husband and I stayed for one week at this lovely home. Everything about the rental was great. The owner Brigitte was easy to work with as we made our arrangements via email and her daughter Alice cheerfully met us for early access to the home. The location in St Aubin Sur Mer, was for us, ideal. Only one block to the sea, close to all necessary shops and yet had a quaint small village feel. All the sights of the Normandy beaches nearby. The house was very clean and comfortable providing us everything needed for a holiday stay. Although we ate most of our meals out, the kitchen was stocked with anything one would need to prepare meals at home. Thoughtfully decorated and immediately giving one a sense of feeling "at home". Plenty of parking nearby and several restaurants from which to choose. We would have no hesitation to stay again on future trips to Normandy.

Lovely property
We were met by Antoine, Brigitte's nephew as Brigitte was away on business.
Antoine showed us around and gave us the keys.
The house suited us (2 couples) and there were many restaurants nearby.
The parking is nearby and we could load and unload the car right by the front door.
All in all we were very happy and would love to return again someday.
Thanks Brigitte and Antoine

Absolutely lovely seaside home in idyllic town.
Our experience was a highlight of our entire trip to France. The property owner was patient with us as we traveled in very late. Upon arrival we were delighted to find a clean , comfortable and stylish home. The kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed all of our meals easily prepared. The bedrooms and bath are spacious and comfortable.
The best feature is the location, we were a 2 minute walk to the beach and sea wall. 1 minute from a full service market and only 1 block from the boulangerie, butcher and fresh fruit and vegetable shop and a flowernshop. We loved the small shops in St. Aubin, and the restaurants along the promenade. We spent time visiting the Normandy beaches and were overwhelmed with emotion as we saw pictures , monuments and memorials to those who liberated this area 72 years ago on D Day.
This was a wonderful experience we will not forget I would highly recommend this property!

Lovely Normandy house
Brigitte's house in St. Aubin-sur-mer is delightful -- conveniently located a short walk from the Juno beach D-day landing site (about 100 meters to the beach) and the boardwalk. The house is large and recently renovated, with some renovations continuing. It was roomy for our 2 couples, with all the amenities one would expect of a nice vacation home, a sunny back yard, plenty of light, and the charm of a traditional Normandy stone building but with modern conveniences. Brigitte is a charming host, friendly and painstaking in assuring that her guests have a good experience. We would recommend her house to any of our friends and acquaintances, and would be happy to stay there again upon any return to Normandy.

Wonderful vacation rental
Everything about this rental was perfect! It's even more charming than it looks in the photos. The home is steps from the beach, there are restaurants around the corner, it's a great jumping off point to explore the rest of the Normandy beaches, and it was set up perfectly with a master on the second floor and bedrooms plus a bathroom for our two girls on the top floor. My favorite was the sunny kitchen built off the garden in the back. The home was well appointed to meet all of our needs and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again should we return to the area. (The wireless worked fine, and parking was no problem as there were plenty of spots just down the street).

Wonderful home!
My husband and I stayed in this home with our two children (ages 8 and 10) and loved everything about it. The home is gorgeous, well-appointed, and relaxing. There is a main bedroom on the second floor (with private bathroom) and two more bedrooms on the third floor with a shared bathroom. The main level is comfortable and we loved the sunny kitchen as well as the private terrace. The home is steps to the beach and cute restaurants, and a grocery store is just around the corner. Parking is not a problem; there is ample room to unload in front of the home, and parking was easily found just up the street. Communication can be an issue unless you speak french (we don't) but we the host was charming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. If we were ever back in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to rent here again.
