Maison de caractère Caprice Normand, jardin clos, 7min à pied des plages

Maison bien placée par rapport à la plage. Maison spacieuse, lumineuse, bien équipée. Grand jardin clos.

Le bruit de la VMC.

House was big. Private parking out the front. Nice garden. Location was 7 mins walk from beach but its not where the restaurants are (there was one nice restaurant we ate in there). So you have to drive everywhere (not an issue but dont expect to walk places). Bed comfy. Big bathroom with shower and bath.

As soon as I booked I got a message from the agency about the extra cleaning bill of 80 euros, although we were told we had to leave it as clean as we found it, , strip the beds, empty the bins etc so not sure what the cleaning costs covered. We had to pay extra for bedding (20 euros a bed!) and an extra 7 euros per towel. Why this isnt included in the cost of the property I dont know. I assume its for commission reasons as we had to pay it cash. But this annoyed me. I was asked to collect the keys from the agencies office at 23.00 and it was 10 minutes out the way. I asked for the keys to be left at the property and they did agree. I weas asked to drop the keys & money at the agents house on the way to the ferry at 23.00 but I said I would leave them at the property as it was out the way and not sure why I should have to do this. She was ok with it. The property is big and clean but needs some TLC.

Large property with plenty of room. There is plenty of outdoor space and excellent parking.. Great location for visiting all the landing beaches and memorials. Easy walking to all beaches. Good restaurants are not far away. Excellent communication from owner and cleaning management company that included what was going on itinerary.. Wi fi was good, which is always a bonus. Liked the electric shutter on the window, and it stopped noise and light with a comfy bed great night sleep..would definitely use again.

For a large property, only one bathroom with a bath shower.. Takes time for everyone to get showered and ready but not a real problem in our case as only 4 people in our group..

Emplacement idéal, commerces à proximité, la plage à 8 mn à pied !

Peut revoir le système de chauffage ( thermostat pas simple à programmer )
