Wonderful home from home stay and perfect for families!

We loved the “home from home” vibe of this house, Beds were super comfortable, decor was just beautiful and it was very well equipped and maintained! Thanks for the extra supplies eg tea, washing powder, cleaning essentials, shower essentials and towels: we will definitely recommend and will definitely stay again the next time we are in York!

Thoroughly enjoyable. York is a very pleasant city for a family getaway.

Property was clean and well presented. The location is very quiet and was an easy walking distance to the city centre and all attractions even for small children.

We couldn’t’t fault it at all.

A rare family 3 night get together so we enjoyed it very much.

It is a lovely house, spacious for up to six guests in a nice location but we found parking an issue, yellow lines outside the house so we had to park one car on the next street once we unloaded luggage (with permit), second car almost a mile away £38 for 3 nights. Plenty of seating, board games, teddy bears and a guitar in the bedroom which our granddaughter (6) loved. Nice welcome pack, fruit and wine (we can't drink so left in fridge). Small courtyard with nice plants and a table, chairs in utility room.

Said two bathrooms, but one large bathroom and small room with toilet and small basin next to it, so still had to wait to get a shower or just a wash. No toilet downstairs. Also says 10 minutes walk to centre but as 75 year olds with knee problems, it was much longer, and was told no buses in the area. Water pipes make a lot of noise sometimes and we could hear loud next door noises, but to be fair, they would also have heard us! Being older we would have preferred a slip mat and/or grab rail in the shower.

Beautifully decorated, excellent facilities, very clean, short walk to the city centre. Extremely comfortable beds.

Boiler thermostat could be a bit higher. The shower was fairly tepid for December, even on full heat.

Lovely city. Great short break.

Good location. Beautiful property and ample beds. Lovely thoughtful gift box with coffee,biscuits and chocolate and milk and Prosecco in the fridge. Provided with parking passes for the weekdays.

When my husband arrived, he called Stays York to ask how to collect the keys however he was informed that the information had been sent on an attachment but it hadn't. He was told over the phone how to access the lock box but the hosts/customer need to make sure attachment is sent/received if via the booking.com messaging service. When I contacted them the next day to inform them that we hadn't received the attachments, they were apologetic and sent the info promptly but just an advice to double check info.

A Great Property

The property was spacious, beautifully presented, and in a very quiet area close to the centre of York. A small courtyard garden was just right for breakfast and dinner. Lovely bathroom, and plenty of room in the house for a party of up to six.

Good comfortable home from home to visit York!

Good location for visiting the city. Lovely touch of the hosts leaving fresh fruit and fresh flowers and a bottle of Prosecco. 😍 (the biscuits and the quality of the tea and coffee was very good too!)

Nos gusto todo en general, es una casa muy bien equipada con todo lo necesario y a 20 minutos andando del centro.

El sistema de calefacción no sabia usarlo y me costo saber donde estaba para aclimatar la casa a nuestro horario.
