Great place with a historic vibe, gorgeous cute home and parking close by.

A gorgeous heritage style property. We loved this place and wished we could have stayed 2 nights. We loved the two bedrooms on the ground floor so we didn’t have to carry out bags up the stairs. The host met us and helped us upon arrival. Car parking great and easy too.

Beautiful maisonette., perfect location.

Beautiful house, immaculately clean. Great location. Loved all the quirky features of the house and personal touches. Very comfortable beds. Host was lovely and really helpful. Thank you. We loved it! And Troyes is also very pretty, lots of history and places to eat. Free parking right outside on road or secure car park. Such a little gem, so glad we found it.

Characterful, tranquil and comfortable - a delightful host and a lovely town.

If you like properties with character, this is truly delightful! Narrow winding wooden stairs in a medieval timbered house; a lovely quiet courtyard and really thoughtfully equipped accommodation. Amenities are very good and the standard of decoration is high. The hostess just exudes charm and friendliness and is a real mine of helpful information. There was a fair close by when we arrived and the hostess moved her own car in order that we might find a space in the crowded public car park. Location is on the edge of the old city and a perfect location for walking and discovering the delights of this lovely town.

Parking often presents a dilemma: if you have a car full of holiday bags then be prepared to move everything into the property or run the possibility of theft from the public car park - an inevitable potential risk in a popular tourist town.

Lovely stop over

This was a lovely comfortable home we'll equipped with everything we needed. Right in the town centre. The owner even came to meet us so she could help us with a parking space. We would have happily stayed longer. My children voted it one of the best places we've stayed in! .

The only slight challenge (but this is my fussy kids) was having two double beds so my kids had to share a bed.

Perfect host, accommodation and location.

The super host provided us with a fresh baguette and there was coffee and tea available, including in our rooms. All perfect. Pretty private garden and we didn't have to leave too early the next day.

A beautiful house in a historic city! Super Stay.

This is an adorable property in a fabulous location. There was a public car park outside the house which we were given inclusive access to by way of a parking pass. The owner was very helpful, responsive and kind. We had a perfect nights sleep in comfortable beds, with beautiful linens. The house was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely recommend and stay again!!

Everything one could want when staying this historic town.

Our host was friendly and charming with a good command of English. She explained everything to us when handing over the keys and the pass for the parking area across the road. This is such a bonus as every street in Troyes appears to have parking restrictions.

What a gem! A fantastic apartment only a few mins walk from the centre of Troyes. Comfy beds and pillows, well equipped kitchen for a family of four. Edwige was so welcoming and easy to contact prior to arrival. It was a great stop off for us and would highly recommend and use again.

Perfect location for walking to Troyes centre. Host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The house was very quiet and so clean, the pictures do not do it justice. Parking was safe and we stored our bikes safely in the courtyard . Would highly recommend.

Superb

The location was great, and very convenient for a visit to Troyes. The place is quirky in a wonderful way. The outside space is really pretty, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen will equipped. The small lounge is really cosy and fits the quirky style of this property. Parking overnight was immediately outside the property and the provision of free parking via a parking pass on the car park which is literally on the opposite side of the road is super convenient.

Some may think that having to go through a bedroom to get to the bathroom a problem, but with planning it really works.

The property is steeped in history. So much character. Cosy, comfortable. Really relaxing being here. Even the little decor details were so nice and the books and things in the cupboard for kids. Beds were extremely comfortable All the mod cons worked perfectly, nice and warm. Kitchen well equipped. Great coffee! The owner was super friendly and gave us information on sightseeing and dining. One of our best stays. Such a wonderful experience all round.

Superb stop over home

Edwige’s house is full of character and very comfortable. We arrived in November and the heating was on so we enjoyed cups of tea sitting in the comfortable living room planning our evening. Edwige even went out to buy milk for us. The house is centrally located and makes an excellent base for en route travel between the UK and France. We will certainly stay again

You have to be aware that there is only one bathroom which is shared between two bedrooms. We were with a very close friend so this was not a problem and of course a family would not be concerned either but it might put some people off.

What a jewel! We loved this place. Spotlessly clean, modernised and new bathroom. wonderful and quirky upstairs right at the edge of gorgeous Troyes. We parked right outside. Our host was so kind and she gave us great suggestions of where to eat & visit. We’d never been to Troyes; what a beautiful town. Great cafes. Very friendly. We will return and hopefully to this very property!

Charming accommodation in fascinating historical town.

We only stopped here to break up the long journey back to Calais. The owner was very helpful- she met us at the property, gave us a map of the local area and recommended things to do and see. The property itself is several hundred years old but is well decorated in a way that is both very comfortable and sympathetic to its age. It sits on the edge of the historic centre, which is full of gorgeous historic buildings and good bars/restaurants just a short walk away. We had a couple of nights here and really enjoyed both the property and the town. Highly recommended.

Wnderful start to our holidays

The house was very pretty and full of character. The courtyard smelled of Jasmine and honeysuckle. We were made to feel safe and very welcome. The house is on the edge of the old town- very easy to discover on foot.

The house has quirky corners so people with mobility issues may struggle.

Absolutely lovely place.

What a gem of a place - lovely cottage on the edge of the medieval town, decorated stylishly and with much thought and attention to detail. We were late arriving but Edwige kept in contact and even came and met us when we had arrived and recommended places to eat. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to re-visit someday.
