Beautiful Modern Studio near centre of Troyes

The studio apartment was spacious, light and modern with the most comfortable big bed we have stayed in this trip. The coffee pods and coffee machine were much appreciated. We had all we needed to prepare our own meals in the kitchen area and the proximity to local shops and the city centre were both within easy walking distance. We loved walking around old Troyes and seeing the half timbre houses.

The narrow entrance to the car park was a bit scary to navigate, but we managed it in our Ford Galaxy 7 seater people carrier.

Location was great and very close to the centre. Apartment was a good size. Nice shower. Good wifi - but needed to ask for password to be sent.

The access to parking was very tight and difficult to access if approaching from the wrong direction - in the sense that you needed to approach from the road opposite the property rather than the road the property is in itself. Might be worth updating the details to explain this. There was parking for several cars once you navigated the narrow entrance but with more than 3 or 4 cars or larger cars manoevering to get in and out is rather awkward. Staircase to upstairs apartments is rather awkward (narrow, windy steps) so for anyone who is less mobile, this could be an issue, so would be wise to recommend ground floor accommodation - happily not an issue for us. Wifi was good but it would be useful to have the wifi passord etc available inside the apartment.

We konden nog anderhalf uur voor arriveren boeken en troffen een schoon ruim appartementje aan met alle gemakken van dien

We hebben niet lang van te voren geboekt dus de verwarming was uit toen we an kwamen. Gelukkig kregen we de verwarming zelf aan en hebben we een prima verblijf gehad

Bien, mais pas pour manger à quatre

Bien situé (quelques centaines de mètres de la ville historique). Propre, calme, chauffé à notre arrivée, literie confortable et linge de maison ok. Bon contacts. Wifi fonctionnel.

Le coin repas ne comporte que trois chaises, inadapté pour quatre personnes. La cuisine est plutôt bien équipée : 4 plaques, four, micro onde, bouilloire, cafetière, ... mais avec quelques manques (couteaux de cuisine, saladier)

Appartement très correct (surtout si celui du dessus est inoccupé!) et très bien placé.

Logement (rez de chaussée, 1 chambre) très bien placé par rapport au centre touristique (tout se fait à pied). Place de parking dans la cour ou dans la rue. Equipement complet et correct.

Il manque de la place entre le lit et les murs pour des tables de nuit (donc pas de lampes de chevet et rien pour poser quoi que ce soit). Il faudrait peut-être prévoir des tablettes murales. Surtout problème d'isolation phonique entre les étages (plancher en bois). On suit les déplacements des occupants du dessus et on ne peut qu'être patient quand la machine à laver se met en marche à 22h.

We konden steeds met de fiets naar t oude centrum, redelijke bedden.

Best redelijk voor de prijs, maar geen herhaling.

Voor 2 personen prima. Voor 4 personen (wij waren met twee tienerkinderen) toch wat klein. Appartement was op zich schoon. Mobiele Airco aanwezig en was ook hard nodig. Prijs was interessant en voor een doorreisnachtje was het best okay.

Was moeilijk vindbaar. Parkeren in de straat ging ook wat lastig. Weinig plek te vinden. Appartementencomplexje ziet er wat vervallen uit met een armoedig ogende entree. We hadden het bovenste appartement, te bereiken met een kleine steile oude trap. Koffer gaat er bijna niet doorheen. Appartement was op zich prima schoon, maar wat rommelig ingericht. Verder waren de bedden voor de kinderen (bankbed) niet opgemaakt. Wel ergens linnengoed gevonden, maar dat paste eigenlijk niet goed op het bed. Mobiele airco was echt nodig, dus wel het nodige lawaai tijdens de nacht.

Redelijk, prima voor doorreis niet voor langer.

Er was een goed matras en een ruime douche. Ook was de keuken netjes gevuld er was olie, zout en peper aanwezig.

De ingang naar de accommodatie toe… ellende, je kan er met een ‘normale’ auto (Renault Clio) net doorheen denk aan 3 centimeter aan beide kanten. De deur van het appartement kon niet eens volledig open en het was niet schoon. Nachtkastjes en schakelaars zaten vol met bloed vlekken, de vloer was wel gedweild maar in de hoeken lag nog veel viezigheid. Ook staat er vermeld tussen 22.00 en 8.00 stilte maar dit is verre van. Wij hebben er 2 nachten geslapen en beide nachten hoorde we tot in de nacht luidruchtig lawaai.

charmante propriété dans une charmante ville !

petite halte à Troyes pour une visite bien sympathique, et j’ai en plus passé une excellente nuit dans ce quartier calme. le logement se trouve dans un petit immeuble de 6 appartements. j’ai eu l’occasion de rencontrer Prisca, qui finalisait la mise en place. elle m’a expliqué avoir récemment repris ces meublés et les avoir nettoyés de fond en comble, y compris les murs. elle a aussi renouvelé une bonne partie de la vaisselle, du petit électroménager, du mobilier, des accessoires, oreillers et draps (même s’il reste encore quelques finitions à prévoir). thé et café sont offerts, et on trouve sur place les condiments de base. pour ma part, j’ai préféré dîner au restaurant, car on est juste à côté du fameux “bouchon de champagne”, le cœur historique de Troyes. Je continue mon voyage, et je laisse un 10 d’encouragement bien mérité !

L’escalier qui mène au 2nd est un peu étroit, cela pourrait gêner certaines personnes, mais pour le 1er étage pas de souci. (classique dans les immeubles anciens)
