Countryside Escape in Italy

We had a wonderful stay at Bioagriturismo Case Zucchi! From the moment we arrived, we could feel the love and care that has gone into every detail of this beautifully restored property. The whole place has a warm, rustic charm, tastefully decorated and incredibly well maintained – it feels like home away from home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant, with a wide variety of local and homemade products. Everything was fresh and full of flavor – from the cakes and fruit to the cheese and cold cuts. You can tell that quality and sustainability are truly valued here. The pool area is another highlight – peaceful, perfectly kept, and surrounded by beautiful countryside views. It’s the ideal spot to relax after a day of exploring. A huge thank you to Lorenza, the lovely owner. She is so kind, welcoming, and always ready with great tips for local activities and restaurants. Thanks to her recommendations, we discovered some real hidden gems in the area. And of course, we must mention her adorable Lagotto dog, Belle – such a sweetheart and a perfect addition to the warm atmosphere of the place. Overall, this is a magical spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Italian countryside – we can’t wait to come back!

Stylish renovated property in countryside setting

Very beautifully renovated property in a countryside setting. It was clean and stylish. We were there for one night and the recommendations for a close by town to visit and restaurant for the evening were great! We were travelling with our children and the room was already set up for us with the sofa bed made and cot present. After staying one night we would have loved to stay longer but we already had plans. Thank you for for a great stay

Beautiful country B&B close to Parma. In heaven of oeace!

Lovely property, great location in the countryside not far from Parma. Beautifully renovated. Our room was fantastic, very spacious, with a wonderful bathroom. The bed was perfect, with a memory form mattress. We slept like babies. Fantastic breakfast of local products. The owner and her staff are lovely. We will definitely be back!

Excellent place to stay, great restaurants nearby and helpful, diligent staff.

This place is quite simply wonderful. The room was stunning as was the garden and pool. We had our sun loungers under a walnut tree, with the smell cut grass all around. Breakfast was great - so many wonderful things, sweet and savoury and fresh yoghurt made by the owners. Our room was exceptionally clean and the location in the rolling fields was great. Easy to Milan, Parma, Salsomaggiore and the castles. We’ll definitely come again. Staff very responsive to our needs also. Just great.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful place. The garden is incredibly spacious and impeccably maintained, with a lovely swimming pool — truly idyllic. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the (organic) breakfast was excellent. The location itself is charming and relaxing, and the hospitality we experienced was simply exceptional. The night after our arrival, we had car trouble, and the hosts went above and beyond to help us — something we truly appreciated. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future. Many thanks for such a lovely stay!

Amazing experience, I cannot recommend this property enough!

Amazing newly renovated propery, with very well designed, comfortable and clean room and amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much - I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone! Breakfast and the drinks at sunset we orderded were both delicious. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, especially Lorenza, who welcomed us during check-in, and was available throughout our stay and was always very kind. We even bought local wine to bring to an event, and both were delicious, recommended by her. The property was very peaceful with a beautiful garden and pool, perfect for relaxing!

first time at Case Zucchi and also the last time

The images are definitely misleading. We booked a standard double room which looked quite nice in the photos BUT upon arrival, we were presented with what looked like the spare room – artificial plasticy floor, no chair, no desk (contrary to description), a very simple metal clothes rack instead of a fine closet... no framed pictures above the bed. Bathroom looked different than pictured: mainly features of a wheelchair accessible room with quite a bare appearance: lots of plastic all around; simple, foldable shower doors with plastic framing, a very basic and huge sink, and to top it all only one slim roll of the cheapest toilet paper... all quite uninviting. When we mentioned our surprise to the receptionist she did not show any empathy nor did she offer any apology. Instead we were told in quite an unfriendly way that we should have expected all these features from the description of the room: ’you should read better’ (literally, these were her words). She knew exactly what we were complaining about while trying hard not to give in. Bottom line: this was our first time at Case Zucchi and also the last time. We stayed the next night at another, great accommodation just a few miles nearby.

Fabulous Agriturismo with real family atmosphere. Nice garden and pool. Really in the middle of nature (we had a deer standing at the entrance of the domain at night). Excellent breakfast with local products of excellent quality.

- very warm and nice staff/owner who converted an old Farm house to a beautiful refugee in the middle of the parma region - really good breakfast with homemade cake and yoghurt, including glutenfree and lactosefree products - 1 charging station for e-vehicles available - went the extra mile for me when I got stung by a bee and provided me with ice cubes and a cooling cream

This is an amazing restored farm house in an idilic location. It was extremely peaceful and clean. The area has wonderful little towns to visit (all within a 20 min drive). The breakfast was phenomenal and the staff was knowledgeable about the area and local restaurants. The pool was spotlessly clean and was a refreshing break from the heat. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful place, wonderful ristoration, in a very nice, calm location, close to Parma, Piacenza and so many other small and pleasant cities around. Breakfast was delicious, with many options, most of them home made, delicate and very flavourful. We highly reccomend this hotel if you want to taste the real and charming Italy's dolce vita!
