A great base for Cinque Terre

We just loved staying at Il Leudo. It was conveniently located close to the beach, a corner shop and a morning coffee. The apartment was bigger than I expected. It had a relaxed feel to it and was at the bottom level of a lovely old building. The garden was a bonus. The kitchen was well set up.with quality items. Levanto was a great base from which to explore Cinque Terre. It was a relief to get back there after the business of the other towns.

The bed was a little hard. This was compensated for by the other great things about Il Leudo.

Very close to the beach. Restaurants were within easy walking distance as was the train station. Apartment was comfortable with its own outdoor seating area, dishwasher and washing machine.

Smelled a little damp, but didn’t negatively impact on our stay.

Perfect stay and starting point for Cinque Terra

Central location in Levanto (perfect starting point to visit Cinque Terre).

Little thing: There were a lot of muskitos, we had to buy spray to kill them.

Logement correct bien qu'humide.

Le gérant, Giancarlo est très accueillant et en plus il parle français ce qui a été un plus pour nous qui ne parlons que très peu italien. Le logement était propre, les lits étaient faits et le linge de toilette était fourni en quantité suffisante. La vaisselle (assiettes, verres, tasses, bols, casseroles, poêles, couverts etc.) est en quantité suffisante pour pouvoir faire la cuisine dans des bonnes conditions sur la plaque à gaz 4 feux. Nous n'avons pas essayé le four électrique. Un peu d'épicerie de base est fournie (huile, vinaigre, café, sel, sucre etc.). Le logement est équipé d'un grand réfrigérateur surmonté d'un petit congélateur qui fonctionnent très bien tous les deux sans faire trop de bruit.

Logement très humide même à la fin du mois de mai (en fin de journée, on glisse pieds nus sur le carrelage humide...). La première nuit dans des draps froids et humide a été difficile... Heureusement, la climatisation / pompe à chaleur a aidé à sécher le logement pour que ça aille mieux à partir du second jour. Le fonctionnement du lave-vaisselle est folklorique. Après 2 tentatives ratées, nous avons fini par laver notre vaisselle à la main. La connexion internet ne fonctionnait pas le premier jour mais le gérant est intervenu et elle fonctionnait à partir du deuxième jour. Attention toutefois au débit qui est faible : ~ 5 Mo/s en moyenne. Il manque une multiprise pour le petit électroménager (cafetière, bouilloire, micro-ondes) et on doit brancher / débrancher les prises en permanence selon l'équipement qu'on utilise. Il manque également un étendoir à serviettes dans la salle de bain. On ne sait pas où mettre ses serviettes à sécher...

Nie wieder!

Die Lage fast direkt am Meer war gut.

Die Wohnung war im EG, oder eigentlich im Keller, d.h. Schimmel (ein Zimmer war gar nicht zu benutzen. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, haben wir es nicht gebraucht.) Außerdem gab es Mücken ohne Ende, aber kein Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern. Der Garten ist nett, aber nur für den Wäscheständer zu benutzen. Die Mücken sind unerträglich und Autan-resitstent. Der Vermieter ist unfreundlich. Außerdem hatten wir für 2 Personen nur einen Schlüssel. Die Bitte um einen zweiten Schlüssel wurde als lächerlich abgetan.

Logement bien situé pour visiter les 5 cinques terres , accès à la gare à pied , la plage à 2 min et en ville pour sortir le soir à pied .

A fuir absolument ! !!

Nous avions réservé 4 nuits et il y a eu des travaux juste au dessus de l’apparemment pendant 2 jours et demi, le bruit était tellement fort que nous ne pouvions pas rester dans l’appartement. De plus il y avait un échafaudage juste devant la porte d’entrée alors que nous avions une cour privative, le travailleur nous a dit qu'il avait l’accord du propriétaire. Celui-ci n’à pas daigné me répondre lorsque je lui ai envoyé les photos et n’à fait au geste pour excuser la gêne occasionnée. Bref nous ne retournerons pas dans cet appartement à Levanto et je ne recommande absolument pas.

Séjour très agréable, bonne adresse !

Bon accueil et disponibilité du propriétaire. Emplacement idéal : proche de la mer, des commerces et proche de la gare pour visiter les Cinque Terre. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir pu profiter du petit jardinet à cause des moustiques. Peut-être prévoir des moustiquaires sur les ouvertures.
