Passable
Levanto is a nice city at the starting point of Cinque Terre. It is a great way to start a hiking trip. Levanto is very good reachable by train and also allows to travel to the other towns of Cinque Terre. It is so small that all locations are close to the beach. Compared to other apartments, this apartment was a bit further away from the center and the beach area. Apartment was big (but a bit outdated).
The instructions by email and in the house were extremely long, strict and detailed. It made us feel quite uncomfortable, as if the owner actually didn't wanted to rent the apartment to us. First impression of the apartments wasn't very good; there were dishes in the dish washer, there was no sanitary trash can in the bathroom, no towels in the kitchen, no wine opener, etc. In addition, we found out that the wrong amount for linnen/towel packages was charged. The appartment did not react when we tried to contact them. Smaller annoyances were the paid wifi and that we had to collect and return the keys elsewhere (pretty annoying when you travel with train with luggage). Overall, we enjoyed ourselves in Levanto, but next time we will not choose this apartment again.
