A really nice stay for kite surfers, with friendly hosts, great location, and beautiful sunset views.

Eleni and her family were very friendly and helpful and made me feel warmly welcome right away. The studio was cute and the garden was spacious and well maintained. The location is convenient also if you don’t have a car/scooter as the bus to Parikia and the ferry to Antiparos is just a 5-10 min. walk away. Taking the ferry to Antiparos was the easiest option for grocery shopping and finding nice restaurants and beaches. And if you‘re into kite surfing: the spot is only about 15 minutes away on foot. I enjoyed staying in one of the rooms with a stone base bed, which was very comfortable and looked great. Also watching the sunset from the terrace was special and I also enjoyed the aircon at night and the little nespresso machine in the morning.

It’s true there’s a main road out front that can get noisy when the island is busy, but that didn’t spoil the experience for me. If you‘re a light sleeper you might wanna consider bringing earplugs.

Ok for short stays

People are very nice, room is clean.

You have to deal with ant and mosquitos. Shower is open that means everywhere is wet. It is not nice while closet is very close.

Pounda

Very nice and light room, outdoor seating area, garden and facility. Walking distance to the ferry to Antiparos and the kite spots, bus stops just outside the property. Comfortable bed, air con, small but functional bathroom.

A Peaceful Oasis with Stunning Views Perfect for Digital Nomad with a pet

As a digital nomad, it’s essential for me to have a cozy place to work and reliable internet, and this hotel is simply great. I had a wonderful wooden desk with a sea view that easily accommodated two laptops. The internet was excellent, and my work laptop connected flawlessly to the network, including the corporate software for my Azure-sensitive protocols, which is not always the case. The speed was perfect, and everything worked smoothly. Poros Island is lively, but this hotel provided a peaceful escape. While it's not directly on the beach, the location offers excellent value, with a serene atmosphere despite a nearby road and airport. The sea view and stunning sunsets every evening are a major highlight, and the lawn with hammocks adds to the calm environment. The hotel allowed me to bring my Collie, which I really appreciated. The parking is spacious, with some covered spots. The kitchenette was well-equipped for cooking, and the balcony, surrounded by natural greenery, was a peaceful retreat. As someone who drinks three cups of coffee a day while working, it was a delight to brew my coffee using provided Nespresso coffee machine (capsules I brought with me). The pink flowers were gorgeous, and I loved the natural materials used throughout the hotel. The towels were in great condition, and there was an overall fresh atmosphere.

These points are specific to the room I stayed in, and other rooms might be different. While these small issues didn’t ruin my stay, it would be great if they were addressed. The bed was quite hard, which might not be ideal for those seeking a super-soft mattress during a relaxing vacation. The bathroom lacked a shower barrier, causing water to spill onto the floor. The fridge door opens the wrong way, though it can be easily fixed. The kitchen faucet felt out of place and unstable. Balconies are close to each other, and some guests leave their lights on all night so earplugs and sleep masks are recommended. Also, the beach is a bit of a walk or drive away, though it's great for kitesurfing.

It’s okay ….

No internet for the entirety of my stay. Had to use my mobile data. No bedside sockets to charge my devices. For me - very inconvenient. No bedside switches for night lights or nightstands. The property is NOT near a walking distance from a beach, even though it is a bit deceiving from the photos. It is noisy because the property is at an intersection. The shower and the toilet bowl are actually in one small bathroom, without a wall between the two, so the toilet is wet all the time.

Really lovely host who could not have been more helpful. It's a nice location. A simple apartment, nothing too fancy but all you need and in a good location - close to Antiparos and beautiful local beaches.

Friendly staff, nice location across the road from the sea with beautiful sunset views. Makes you feel like you are away from all the flocks of tourists while still being a short scooter/car ride from the main downtown.

We had a very wholesome experience that we will never forget. We definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Most beautiful rooms and best price

We went island hopping for two weeks in greece and this was by far the best place we stayed at. The rooms are beautiful. For the price I have never encountered nicer rooms. The owner is also super friendly.

The location is the only downside. You need a vehicle to get there and there aren't any supermarkets nearby. But this also means that you get a chill, quiet place so overall not a problem.

Overall, great place!

The location was really close to Pounta Port, just a ten minute walk, which was very convenient for our boat tour and the ferry to Antiparos. The room itself was very beautiful and we also took advantage of the hammocks and nice scenery right outside.

Shampoo was not provided and there was only a little bar of soap that our party had to share. The person at the reception knew very little English and was sometimes not there, so it was sometimes difficult to communicate and check out.

THI IS NOT A SAFE PLACE There are no lights in the garden but they’re a few unexpected 2 cm high steps point point I had an accident going back to my room at night because there was no light and I didn’t see the two cm step. Luckily enough I didn’t break anything ( because then I would have sue them )but the rest of my vacation was spoiled as one of shoulders is harmed. They didn’t offer any kind of compensation or comfort. Now that I think about it I should have definitely send them a lawyer, it’s inadmissible not to have lights in a garden.

Bonito alojamiento. Muy recomendable

El alojamiento es ideal para ir en pareja. Es bonito, acogedor y familiar. Eleni, la propietaria, te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Volvería sin duda.

La ubicación no es perfecta, ya que no hay cerca playas. Es necesario alquilar coche si te quieres mover por la isla. Lo bueno es que está al lado del puerto de Pounda, donde se coge el ferry a Antiparos y hasta ahí se puede hacer a pie.
