Wonderful stay and would definitely return
We loved our stay at High Mill, pool was great, location was great. Staff were amazing.
Not a fan of sinks in bedrooms. Could have done with a softer pillow.

Definitely would stay here again
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent facilities in the room. Very easy to walk into the town for food. Breakfast was nice but would be good to see allergen labels.
Bed a little rough/springy but that's maybe just our opinion.

Staff were nice, breakfast was ok. It's not too close to the beach. Photo's need to be updated.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. The manager (Lefty) was super helpful; he even offered to help us with transportation to the ferry.
The noise of the cricket was annoying. The hotel needs to update its photos, as they are misleading. They also need to inform the public that its on a hillside where you need to go uphill, if you have knee issues, it will be hard for you to stay there and not too close to the beach.

Mediocre at best
Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.
Facilities including the garden weren't well maintained. The breakfast quality was below average for a 4 * hotel. There were drain flies in our bathroom. The bed and pillows had little to no support i.e. the mattress was quite thin so you could almost feel the springs. It should be a 3* hotel really.
