Good but could be better

The hotel is nice overall. It’s located in the nice area with close proximity to shops and restaurants and the Pier. Buffet breakfast (eggs, sliced meats and cheeses, bakery goods) is good with great coffee! Bed, pillows and towels are nice and soft. Nice and quiet.

Please do not waste your money on eating at the hotel besides the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, I got the dinner option, thinking it was buffet style, which was not, and got extremely disappointed all weekend we stayed there. Decided to give a shot for a second night after first night extreme disappointment, per manager’s suggestion. But should have canceled and got my money back at the first night. The food was so bad, microwaved and it wasn’t edible. All of it. I never ate a bad Greek meal but here it was! I couldn’t believe the Greek person can cook like this. Disappointed that I didn’t get my money back. Also, maybe we didn’t get the memo because we were the only people eating at the hotel restaurant, while all the restaurants outside were having waiting lines! It should tell you something.

Naxos Beach Resort has everything you'd want for a cozy holiday hotel, without being too fancy.

Breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and plenty of choice. Coffee machine was temperamental but it got plenty of use. Staff were friendly and patient. The manager was brilliant. Location couldn't have been any better, right near the beach and loads of restaurants with an enjoyable short walk into town. You could stay by the pool all day and read under an umbrella with an open bar and kitchen serving all day. Beautifully landscaped with tropical plants and flowers. Not too busy, so we felt relaxed. We used the gym to do Yoga and Pilates and left our floor mats for future guests.

Shower leaked a bit at the bottom edge so the floor was wet, but it dried quickly. I think this will be fixed during renovations. The pool was a bit too cold for me so only swam once. In summer it would feel warmer. Mostly retirement age couples staying here, so I wouldn't recommend this as a destination for young, hip singles/couples or families in September.

Great stay in a simple but comfortable resort in an excellent location

Great location, two pools a plus. Stayed in each of the resorts that were combined to make this property. The Galaxy rooms are newer tho they say the Royal rooms will be renovated next year. A few hiccups through the stay and the resort staff were incredibly responsive which was awesome. Breakfast is great as others say.

Very pleasant stay ☺️

Breakfast was included and the food selection and coffee was very good. Room was spacious with a balcony and the airconditioning was great. Five minute walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Lots of shopping close by and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disappointed!

Facilities and location.

Early check in that was promised four months prior (did not happen). Front desk receptionist acted like she had never seen the request before. I actually saw hand written notes on my check in paperwork. She said she would call us when the room was ready, never did!!! Yet, I saw her go and tell others that there room was ready. So, our room key didn’t work when we first showed up, my husband had to go back to the reception area to get another key. Our last night there, the lights would not come on, because of a defective room key, and Management had to bring a new room key!

Fantastic location for the beach and extremely walkable into the old town for evenings and even the port. Staff were eager to help and super friendly.

Perfect stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Naxos Resort! The whole team is so professional and welcoming, and the general manager is simply charming – you really feel like you’re in good hands here. Our room was beautifully furnished, recently renovated, and always spotless thanks to the daily service. The resort itself is very well-kept, with a super clean pool and a lovely atmosphere all around. The location couldn’t be better: just steps from the beach, in a quiet surrounding, yet only a short walk to the town center – the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. And the breakfast… wow! Delicious, fresh, and with plenty of choice – it really leaves nothing to wish for. We had such a relaxing time and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone who wants the perfect Naxos experience!

Pool opening at 10am and other guests saving their pool bed from the morning. We not once got to lay around the pool due to this (and we refused to be like the other guests and save our beds). Staff should not allow this to happen.

The Naxos Beach Hotel is in an excellent location at the end of a beautiful beach / restaurant strip. It has a great sized pool with benches surrounding it, as well it is a 30 sec easy walk to the beach where there is access to benches/ umbrellas owned by the hotel. You can rent these at half price being a guest at 20 euros per 2 x benches and umbrella. We alternated each day between the pool and the beach. The beach has lovely crystal clear water, initially shallow and safe for all swimmers. From the hotel beach benches you can ordered food, or there are restaurants nearby, as well there is a supermarket a short walk from the beach to buy drinks, salads, great coffee, and necessities. The hotel is Greek style. We had a triple room on the second floor with a lovely balcony over looking the pool. The room / bathroom was spacious with modern conveniences. It was cleaned daily. The breakfast included in our price was an excellent fresh spread .. from cooked items eggs, bacon to cereals, yogurt , toast, pastries, cheese, Greek food items and a wonderful array of fruit. The seating restaurant area was under an outdoor covered patio by the pool and hotel bar. The staff at the Naxos beach hotel were very courteous and helpful. Via email they helped book a taxi pick up from the port to the hotel as well to return us to the port. The Naxos Beach Hotel is a 10-15 min walk to the picturesque port where there are many delicious Greek restaurants lining the marina, as well as to capture beautiful photos of the sunset. Wandering behind the marina strip are winding old streets filled with interesting fashion and handicrafts shops, as well as restaurants and bars. We had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The location to the beach, nearby restaurants and short walk to the town center was excellent. The included breakfast was top-notch.

The door was difficult to open until one of the employees told us the trick to getting it to unlock. The bathroom had some loose caulking around the sink and some loose grout in the shower and a bit of mold in the shower as well.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel in Naxos with fantastic location, friendly staff, and beautiful pool

Clean and comfortable hotel with an excellent location just a short 5-10 min walk to the harbor. We had the family room which was large enough for 2 adults and 3 children (each with their own bed). Very nice pool area with friendly staff. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day for our family. It was also very nice to have parking for our rental car.

Finding the entrance to the parking lot when we first arrived was a little challenging with the one way streets. Once I saved a pin at the correct entrance it was easy to find. There is a separate entrance and an exit based on the design of the surrounding streets.

Fantastic location, great swimming pool and a phenomenal breakfast.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. We had the best room, on the top floor overlooking both the swimming pool and Agios Georges beach. The breakfast was next level, with a variety of top-quality food. The coffee machines were state of the art. The big swimming was great, with a jacuzzi on the one side and children's pool on the other side. There was ample sunbeds and umbrellas around the swimming pool. The lunch menu variety and prices were fantastic, had a Chicken Cobb salad that was delicious. If you wanted to go to the beach, which is less than 80 meters from the hotel, guests were charged Euro 15 for sunbeds and an umbrella. The old town is literally around the corner from the hotel, and 1.3km from the Port / Ferry. There are many restaurants near the hotel. Although we did not hire a car, there is free parking available at the hotel. There was a big lift if one wanted to make use of it. The room was spacious, and we had a big balcony. The room had a refrigerator and Nespresso coffee machine. One even had a drying rack on the balcony, and a big cupboard and safe in the room.

A great place to stay in Naxos

The hotel was in a great location, an easy walk into the port area with restaurants but nice and close to the beach. The pool was great for hot days and the generator was a bonus given the number of times power was lost to the rest of the island. Breakfast was also very good

The pool was pretty cold and there wasn't anyone taking away towels from "reserved" but empty sunbeds which was very annoying when you wanted to swim but had no where to lounge afterwards.

Location was great, quiet spot just outside the town. Facilites were great - good breakfast and beach beds available for guests.

The location is perfect. 15min walk from the port and less than 5 min to the beach. The pool is nice, the staff is very kind and helpful, and there is a good assortment of items for breakfast. The espresso machine is amazing once you figure out how it works.

The room itself is very basic. The bathroom had a slight sewer smell. The view was of a dirt parking lot and other neighboring buildings. High price for little comfort.

Fantastic experience!

Beautiful location one minute from the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s worth getting a nice room with a view to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Breakfast selection is good. Nice hotel in good location

Nice hotel/resort in a good location - close to many restaurants as well as the beach. About a 15 min walk to the port. Had a good size pool. Staff were friendly. Cleaning staff were quick and efficient.

Few little maintenance issues - like constant slightly wet floor in bathroom (maybe drain flooding? we never actually saw the cause). Our balcony was quite small which meant to close the shutters at night, we had to move the furniture to be able to do it.
