Majestique of Naxos

Oh my God, what a find! I have never been happier with accommodation that I have booked. My family comes from Naxos and I hadn't been to the island in 10 years and decided to stay in Chora. I went for Majestique as it had great reviews already, but my experience exceeded my expectations. We had an excellent stay at the Wet Allure suite. The location is ideal, just a 12-minute walk from Agios Georgios Beach and around 10 minutes from Chora, making it very easy to explore both the beach and the town. Maria, the hostess, was exceptional. She called us when we got lost in Chora after a long boat trip to send us directions, then she warmly welcomed us and showed us around the room, and gave us valuable tips on getting around the area, including the quickest route to the beach. She also went above and beyond by safely storing our luggage and allowing us to use the pool after check-out, as our ferry back to Athens was much later in the day. The room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It perfectly combines luxury with modern Cycladic design, creating a stylish and relaxing atmosphere, and with the specific room we had access to the pool on the rooftop. The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the built-in couch downstairs was equally cosy and perfect for relaxing. A special mention also goes to the housekeeping team, who did a fantastic job every day and maintained the room to an exceptionally high standard. Overall, Majestique of Naxos exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

The only issue we had was with the air condition on the top floor that sometimes took a while until it was responsive to the controller but I am confident that they will get that sorted as they are taking great care of their facilities. The hot tub also needed some time to warm up. But as everything else was truly great and we were on vacation and not in a hurry, these were minor issues.

Clean, comfortable modern rooms. Great bathroom & shower. Good to have iron and board in each room, and beach towers. Roof top pool and loungers nice for when you’ve got a half day to while away. Excellent daily service meant the room always looked great, with clean sheets and towels.

Pillows could be firmer ( but that’s a personal choice)

The location is really practical.

First, I booked for the boutique hotel, and got hosted in the private suite. I don’t know whether they are different in terms of facilities but I was surprised upon arrival, especially as I booked a “boutique hotel” thinking their would be staff, a reception desk, etc .. The location is great, however it is really noisy. It is surrounded by other buildings, and the noise within the building is strong - i could hear people in the stairs and talking in their rooms. The pool on the roof is alright although it is tiny - you can’t go there if there are other people. The room is alright, but I hate to admit it’s not good value for money, considering their is no staff nor breakfast - I would expect more from a 275€ hotel per night … I was a bit disappointed.
