Beautiful stay in a large house close to the beach

The house is enormous - four bedrooms, each with ensuite, and very large common spaces (indoor and outdoor) for games, cooking and hanging out. The views from the house are amazing and you can walk to the beach easily from the house. The office to collect the keys is right on the way to the location - it was very easy to stop in there. Parking is available for at least four cars - possibly more. Great for a stay of multiple families.

The Wifi was good, but doesn't manage to stretch to all rooms in the huge house. The alarm system was a bit complicated (though, of course, necessary) - it wasn't easy to tell if we'd switched it on correctly from within the house as the indicator lights are outside. But these are very minor issues within an excellent experience.

Paternoster weekend away

We were a group of 8 friends (4 couples), and we loved the location with the unobstructed view of the sea.It was great that each couple had their own en suite bedroom. The large dining table & indoor fireplace was perfect on those cold winter nights. We were lucky to have some sun & the outdoor patio was just right for our breakfasts. We had the most amazing weekend at Induku.

Location of the property to the beach and paternoster harbour and the games room. The property was very spacious and well equipped for a large family.

No issues with the property but still awaiting for property and games equipment to be returned.

We were blown away by the location and home, the photos don't do it justice.

Beautiful location, fantastic Games room for the kids. Gorgeous indoor fireplace/ braai. Stocked kitchen. Spectacular main suite with a gorgeous bath! Walk straight out onto the beach. A short walk to the waterfront where you can enjoy a couple wonderful restaurants, art exhibit and shops.

Only very small things like, more than 1 dishwasher tablet and bin bag (one per night would have been better). We also ran out of toilet paper.

facilities were very neat and modern. Very homey and comfortable. Enjoyed the entertainment area.

pillows and maybe some extra blankets for winter. extra dishwasher soap, especially for a booking of 8 people, there is not really space to pack dishes when washing up. dishwasher needs a service, does not clean properly.

Was a lovely house. Well situated.

On arrival to collect the keys we were asked to pay a further R1000 deposit for the games room supplies. This is over and above the R3k deposit we had already paid..nowhere previously had we been informed of this. On receipt of games supplies the one pool cue was broken. The bins were full and had not been emptied. We also think that to supply only 2 dishwasher tablets for a 5 day stay was unreasonable. There were not any black bags for us to use when we needed to empty the bins.

The house was not very clean upon arrival. some minor faults / things did not work. We made use of cleaning service - R400 - approx 3 hours - very poorly cleaned. Ladies very friendly, just in a rush.

Excellent for a large group in a great location, but personally I would not book it again.

Location amazing.. House was really nice and enough space to accommodate 7 people comfortably.

Considering you have to pay such a large breakage deposit which does not include gear for the gaming room, the extra R1000 not made clear at all. Water pressure really bad to the extent that water does not even come out of the main bedroom shower. Signs everywhere about water usage limitations.. We all know about the drought but don't need signs around the house threatening to charge you extra if you go over the limit. The house had a terrible smell that we could not get rid of.. The house was clean but could have been better. Alarm kept going off at night for no reason which made sleeping uncomfortable. We used all the correct settings so not sure what was going on..

There are rules up in places and a threat to charge for more than 100 litres of water a day, so not a very welcoming atmosphere to start. I had to buy extra toilet paper (4 toilet rolls, for 8 people for 3 nights) and dish tabs (2 tabs for 8 people for 3 nights) there was a stain on the sheet on the bed in the main bedroom and it was threadbare with a stitched patch. The cleaner came to change the sheet on the second day but wanted to check the mattress protector before she left?? The one side of the bed is badly sunken. The garage was broken and although they apologised, they could only fix it on the Monday after 2 days stay. It is also very misleading that one has to pay a R1000 deposit for the games room items. the lady at stay at paternoster argued that it is stated on the website and that it is not up to her to let guests know.

The house is beautiful...modern decor and very spacious. I loved the kitchen and my kids loved the game room.
