室内はゆったりと広くて、コンセント口もたくさんあって家族４人の携帯とタブレットの充電が同時に出来て助かりました。

バスルームの場所と出た所が玄関の靴を置く下の所だったのがちょっと困惑…

駅近 広々とした室内 必要な家電・食器類もしっかり揃っていた

洗濯機がベランダにあったせいか、あまり使われていない部屋だったからか、洗濯機の中に砂が入ってた（洗濯機があるところを選んでいたのでコインランドリーを使用せざるを得なかったのは残念） チェックアウト15分くらい前にオーナーなのか清掃員なのかがドアをノックしてくる（女独り身だったのでとても怖かった）

赤羽站西口出來後需步行10分鐘左右才能抵達（此處住宅區有一段上行坡段），由於我們是網路預定好機場接機，所以沒有到日本出關後找路拉行李的困擾。 赤羽站一帶有當地人也愛的居酒屋一番街，所以餐廳林立，便利商店及超市商家也多，再晚回來都有的吃。 個人與家人體力還算不錯，所以每天出去一天遊玩回來後這個上行坡段對我們而言反而是核心肌群鍛鍊的好時機，但如果是推著行李箱又帶長輩小孩又要提重物的話可能就會比較辛苦，預訂時這個因素要稍作考量一下。 除了這個坡道問題之外，基本上這個房東管理者是很溫暖的人。 社區的白天及晚上都非常安靜，所以我們的睡眠品質都很好。 日常生活備品都準備很充足，小廚房裡的爐灶（含烤箱）、電子鍋、冰箱、微波爐、煮水器、吹風機等家用電器都很實用，偶爾附近超市採買回來自己簡單料理也很不錯，畢竟日本飲食口味偏重，自己簡單料理比較健康也像在家一樣。 洗衣機就在房間陽台外面所以使用上很方便，衣架有10個也是非常夠用的，洗完衣服後就直接晾在陽台或者是冷氣風口下的窗簾杆子，即便晾在室內有太陽時也可以曬到太陽。 房間的浴室及廁所是分開的也都很乾淨。 外面公區域有提供吸塵器掃把及垃圾袋可以自行使用。日本垃圾分類跟台灣稍有不同，都有標示如果不懂日文仔細看看籃子裡的物品跟著放就好了，門口也有一個社區內掀蓋的大垃圾桶，如果要丟垃圾打開放入即可。 一本詳細的生活公約房東都有提供放在桌上，入住時務必參閱如果有任何問題都可以詢問房東。

瓦斯爐烤箱較舊，但使用功能是沒有問題的。

The room was very large, and it had been freshly cleaned. It was walkable to the Akabane train station, although some steep sections could be challenging with large luggage or if you have accessibility challenges. It provided a kettle, hair dryer and a few cutlery items along with a microwave; a few towels and shampoo and body wash were also provided. The laundry is outside on the balcony (we saw some negative reviews so didn’t use this). Bathtub is deep and not too small (I’m 5’8 and didn’t feel squished). Shower pressure is fine, and the hot water heats well. Check in was uncomplicated - key box entry. The little green bean keyring was cute, memorable and handy to ensure that the key wasn’t lost.

The room listing was advertised on Booking.com as accessible, and the building as offering luggage storage. But this room is on the third floor with only a narrow staircase for access (which also has some hazardous steps). We had contacted the owner previously to ask about this and ensure there was a storage option, due to having heavy (45kg) suitcases and physical accessibility issues, but received no response before check in. There are no luggage storage facilities for large suitcases despite what was advertised. The front doorway for the room I stayed in had a construction error where it opens onto a landing that has around 1-2 cm of distance between the doorway and the next step down; you had to be constantly vigilant to not misstep or else you would fall and hurt yourself. It definitely would not be safe for children, or anyone with vision or motor impairment. The area could be a little noisy at night and occasionally during the day (someone nearby was signing JPop with a microphone in the late afternoon for example). Although clean, the room and furnishings are much older than the photos showed, and are not as beautifully styled as the photos suggest. The couch is a futon with a blanket over it - good if you need extra bed spaces, bad if you like sitting outside of your sleeping quarters. We stayed a week and didn’t see a single person, so if travelling alone I imagine it would be fairly lonely and isolating. Considering the furnishings, the luggage situation, the lack of communication and the cost, a hostel would be better. Of the two beds, the one closest to the door is worn and offers hard springs; we took the one next to the window which was a little more comfortable; we slept fine. But both mattresses are showing their age. Some of the cutlery had some marks; as guests are asked to put away their dishes after washing, I did wonder if these are left over from guests not cleaning up after themselves well enough and then the items not being inspected.
