What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet.

There is no lift/elevator in this chalet, but it has a 1st-floor entrance at the rear which some guests find more convenient.



The house rules are that you must remove your footwear on entry into the house, keep the common areas clean and keep noise levels under control. And there are set days for using the shared laundry room which must be observed.
