Post Residence 5 is a centrally located recently refurbished 3-bedroom holiday apartment on the 2nd floor, perfect for an Alpine getaway! Located in the family-friendly “car-free” mountain village and ski resort of Wengen and just steps from the train station, with a ski slope and cable car just around the corner, the mountains and ski areas are truly on your doorstep! All that Wengen has to offer by way of restaurants, bars and shopping are simply steps away.

This 2nd-floor apartment sleeps up to 8 people and has 3 generously sized bedrooms. There is 1 double with a super king-sized bed and 2 twin bedrooms plus 2 pull-out beds, so it can accommodate families or have a designated kids' room! All beds are European sizes. It has 1 family bathroom with bath, shower and WC, 1 en-suite bathroom with shower and WC plus a separate WC. The apartment also benefits from its own utility room with a washing machine/dryer and an office space.

This newly renovated apartment is an appealing and convenient option for central accommodation in Wengen and steps away from restaurants and the train station or cable car.

The interior is warm and inviting, and the use of wood flooring throughout makes for an Alpine feel. It has comfortable furnishings, Wi-Fi and TV which creates a friendly casual place for relaxing and entertaining. When not dining in the nearby restaurants, the kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs, and dining on the large balcony is a must and gives you the chance to take in the stunning mountain vistas!

What you should know...

Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is a 12-minute scenic train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 21.30 and then hourly. Taxis or luggage transport are available for hire upon arrival at Wengen train station if required.
