Amazing views in beautiful little Wengen
The views are amazing and breathtaking! The reason we chose this chalet was for the mountain views and it did not disappoint. Also, there were 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which were great for our family of 6. The upstairs living room was very spacious for all of us to gather and watch TV. The kitchen was sufficient for our needs - we only made breakfast and heated up pizza for dinner so I don't know how it would work for a large meal. The chalet is in a very quiet part of town so it was nice and peaceful. Did I mention the amazing views?? Staying in Wengen was ideal for the Jungfrau area - only a 10-minute train ride down to Lauterbrunnen and could also access higher elevations.
It had a weird layout. The master bedroom (the only one with a bathroom attached) had terrible views. We debated whether we take one of the rooms with great views or the one with the attached bathroom that had double sinks - we went the practical route and sacrificed the view. The bunkbed room is far from the bathroom on the bottom floor. There are 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens - I understand the 2 living rooms so people can spread out but not sure why there was a 2nd kitchen. It did make it handy to have twice the supplies, though. The refrigerator didn't seem that cold, but that could be an American preference. The chalet is a 10-minute downhill walk from the town center and train so we made sure we only made one trip up the hill each day - it was a beast walking back up with suitcases. However, these negatives would probably not deter us from staying here again. Just worth noting.

Great chalet with amazing views down the Lauterbrunnen valley. Great space and lots of room for 8 people to spread out among the many rooms. Well stocked kitchen. We had a very comfortable stay here and would recommend it.
