Incredible view from our balcony, warm and friendly staff

Wonderful view from the balcony double room and good location if you’re ok with a bit of an uphill walk from Wengen station. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well supplied. The front garden is beautiful with very well maintained grass and landscaping, smelled great and lovely to relax in. There werent any staff at reception while we were there (checked in 7pm ish and checked out 11amish) but were extremely responsive over message.
The mattresses were very soft and unsupportive. Not comfortable and gave back pain.

It’s a little bit of a walk. Building feels a bit old but not surprising. We thought there was self service laundry but there wasn’t

I like the cleanliness of this property and overall experience in the room which has a wonderful view of the mountains and the bathroom was also clean with a tub.
It's up in the mountain so you either pay 20 CFH to the taxi or walk uphill. The neighborhood is all empty and nobody lives in those houses so at night, it feels very scary because no lights on the roads. We stayed their for 02 nights and they don't have anyone on the reception and nobody we met in three days who represented the hotel. Also, it's a wooden house so when you walk, it makes a lot of noise.
