Very spacious accommodation, 2 bathrooms a bonus, comfortable beds, good location to walk into Verona

Key code did not work on arrival. Contacted number stated, immediate response but told it must have gone offline and couldn't get anybody soon to let us in. It was 22:30 by this time and group of 6 left outside apartment with no means of entry. Advised to ring the bell of another resident and ask to open up for us. Asked who this should be but no further communication when said we did not feel comfortable contacting someone random. Eventually another resident wanted to go in so asked if she would let us in, extremely rude response but managed to catch the door. This was a very unfortunate start.

The location was absolutely perfect - just a couple of minutes’ walk and you’re already in the historical center of Verona. It’s very close to Juliet’s House and all the main attractions, as well as many great restaurants. There was also a grocery store right nearby, which was very convenient. We really enjoyed having cafes just next to the apartment. The river view was beautiful and made the stay even more special. Overall, the apartment felt very well-situated and comfortable.

Nothing that affected our overall satisfaction with the stay. Some of the kitchen items, like the pans, were not in the best condition, but it didn’t really matter to us as we mostly ate out at restaurants.

The neighborhood and proximity to sites was perfect.

The furnishings were rudimentary and tired. It is also beyond time to update the main bathroom. The toilet is no longer bolted to the floor and the shower has mold in the corners.
