It was a beautiful old building built in the 1600s. It was very convenient for walking everywhere and safe .It was clean with lots of towels and the bed was okay. One member of the office staff was incredibly helpful his name was Eduardo.
It's seems to be that where there are elevators an old buildings there are also steps which for a senior person with luggage is difficult. There were a few things that needed Improvement there was no waste bin in the bathroom . The height in the closet where you hung your clothes have to be 12 ft high up near the ceiling there was a pole you could put your clothes on to get them up there but mine just kept falling off. The fact that you had to take out your garbage that was up the road and around the corner was not convenient especially on the morning you're leaving. The photo of the bedroom with the canopy was not the room I was in.

The location is excellent as it is close to many of the main sights, with the Arena just 5 minutes walk away and some very good restaurants nearby. We had a rental car and the apartment is relatively close to the parking at Arsenale, although we discovered later that we could have driven across the bridge and dropped off the luggage closer to the apartment, which is in a no-traffic zone. The apartment is relatively spacious and air-conditioned.
We were 4 persons with one double bed and a sofa bed in the same room. Furniture and facilities were spartan. We had to use 2 kitchen chairs to rest the luggage on. The apartment spans over the archway that leads from the main gate to the central courtyard, so you hear everyone coming and going, but for the most part they were relatively quiet. Sharing one bathroom between 4 persons was challenging and you need to leave the ventilator on all the time as there's no window to the outside and the bathroom becomes smelly and stuffy after use.

Location
Hot water did not flow automatically when you turned on tap. It seems you had to push buttons on hot water heater but there was no house manual and ItalianFlat did nothing when we asked for help. They just ignored us. I would want to be there in cold weather!
